    Pros +

    • The room was spacious and in a great location. Great amenities and the bed was super comfy. The hotel as well as the room itself were very clean and the majority of the staff were very friendly and polite - We had an issue with the room and they sent someone immediately in the early hours to fix it.
    • A wonderful stay again. Lovely comfortable rooms, great staff and wonderful location.
    • Clean and smart rooms, easy check-in and checkout. Amazing location, close to underground and St.Paul’s with loads of places to eat and drink on doorstep

    Cons -

    • One member of staff when we arrived was very rude and abrupt with us, but the rest were much nicer. You can hear the bells from St. Pauls a bit so don't stay if you want a lay in. Also the air con unit broke and wouldn't cool down which ended up with the room getting hotter and hotter (staff couldn't fix it so opened the windows for us)
    • One of the lifts was broken which was a small annoyance
    • One Lift Working out of two for the whole hotel, took ages to get up and down being on 7th floor. Also left an item at hotel and they told me they couldn’t help and that I had to go through a “third party” cleaning company. Not good so sadly won’t stay again.

    Nice hotel - friendly staff

Way too much noise from the road. And from the cathedral - couldn’t fall asleep for the bells and the traffic

    9ElenaPosted on: 2-3-2026

Great location, cozy room with stunning view, friendly staff.

No mini fridge in the room

I loved the design and layout of the property. The linens were wonderful also. The front of house staff (Salman) was absolutely fantastic, he really went above and beyond in his hospitality. Very kind and friendly.

There was no parking nearby at all and the room was not as clean as I would’ve liked.

Clean and comfortable. Whilst encouraged to use the tablets to self-check-in, there was someone on hand to help with the process.

Poor sound-proofing. Being nearby to St Pauls' cathedral, and the bells going off every 15 minutes (no joke) I'd expect sufficient measures to be taken to sound-proof the windows. Unfortunately not the case. There were also zero complementary offerings, not even water, and for the price of the room I'd expect that as a minimum.

Great location. Facilities are good, with some great ideas for water refills and additional purchases. Spacious room.

Unfortunately, there were guests smoking drugs in the hotel. The smell of this came into our room at around 9pm through the ventilation system and from the corridor. This is unacceptable for any stay, but even worse when staying with my 4 year old and my pregnant wife. On notifying the hotel staff, they sprayed some air freshener outside our room and offered to spray it inside, rather than sorting the drug problem ongoing in the hotel. This was very disappointing and shocking they didn't take this more seriously. On check out, we were offered a free cup of coffee and a pastry for the inconvenience. This was just a little insulting. What a shame.

    Pleasant

Spartan heating (small convector behind window curtain)Noisy bathroom ventilation (that did not switch off)

room & facilities & location first class

breakfast was the worst ever. poor service, poor food, no customer interaction. They didnt care. DO NOT pay for breakfast, go around the corner

    10AlisonPosted on: 1-26-2026

The breakfast was very good room was very good staff all friendly and helpful

    Lack of a bar

    5AdrianPosted on: 1-26-2026

    location was great

Room was 'OK' - But heating and cooling wasn't working. Room was too hot to sleep and we couldn't cool it down despite having the windows open (as they could only be opened 5cm) so all 3 of us couldn't sleep the first night. Beds were also not that comfortable. The shower also leaked water all over the floor whenever you used it.Breakfast was awful - despondent staff, dirty plates, juices ran out, tables not cleared - zero service. Some staff were great on reception. But I witnessed staff aggressively arguing on reception for over 20mins on Sunday morning (they were unaware i was sat in the lounge and could hear everything)The one time we wanted to use the coffee shop mid morning - the staff were on a break - so we went elsewhere.
