Honestly I want to give a bad review because I want to gate keep this place and I’m concerned my fair opinion would contribute to increasing full occupancy. I’m going back next time I’m in London

That I could only stay two nights and not extend my stay because it was fully booked, very inconvenient.

Perfect location, close to buses, underground station. Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, direct metro line to Heathrow.

Nice place, my room perfect for 1 person for a short stay. Breakfast was nice and they gave me toothpaste and a toothbrush since I’d forgotten mine!

Tea and coffee were from a machine downstairs

My room was comfortable and clean and looked as if it was refurbished recently. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was very good.

Though there was free coffee in the downstairs lounge I would have preferred facilities to make a hot drink in my room. There were not enough electrical sockets in the room

Staff / Proprietors made me feel really welcome

Lock in my first room was iffy but I got an upgrade before I had even asked.

Everything was great. The facilities were super clean, the bed was comfortable, the location is great and the included breakfast is delicious. Really good value

    Nothing. All great.

Very convenient location — you can easily walk to Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street, Soho, and King’s Cross St Pancras. There are also bus stops and the Underground nearby. A nice extra: free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate available in the lobby.

Breakfast was disappointing and offered very little variety: there were no fresh fruit or vegetables, no yoghurt, porridge, boiled eggs, or pastries. Instead, it was the same limited set every day—an English cooked breakfast, toast with jam, and cereal served at the table. The breakfast room is also very small, and service is only available from 7:00 to 9:00. At busy times we sometimes had to wait for a table in the corridor/stairwell, which wasn’t comfortable.

Spotlessly clean, basic but very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely, rooms were cleaned daily. I also had a window that I was able to open and could alter the amount of heating. Had plenty of hot water whenever I used it. It was quite old fashioned, but in a really charming way as it is so well run.

Was a very clean room The breakfast was great. The bathroom was recently redone. Was quite in the room.

    all good

Bed was not the most comfortable.

Very conveniently located in the heart of Bloomsbury, close to 3 different tube stations, surrounded by different universities, which gives the area extra charm. The room was small but very clean and tidy, with all the necessary facilities. Helpful staff, ready to answer all my question. Full English breakfast included in the price and the breakfast ladies were just wonderful! tea and coffee at any time of the day, and I generally felt comfortable and safe. Would recommend it to anyone!

    10ClaraPosted on: 2-9-2026

Great location, very cozy hotel, great breakfast and super friendly staff. Would stay here again!

    9ShlomitPosted on: 2-3-2026

The location is fantastic for the price, the hotel runs very smoothly, the rooms at the back face a lovely peaceful view and I liked the way the bed was placed like a window seat. The free hot-drink machine is a very nice treat.

The atmosphere was more hostel-like and less like a traditional b&b than last time I stayed. No lift. The furniture in the lounge could be better arranged so different groups could sit there at the same time without feeling awkward. And they happily gave me a kettle when I said it would be nice, but why not just provide one?
