Pros +
- The location was excellent, very close to major attractions and the underground.
- Location was ideal
- There were rats/mice in the rooms, another guest also had a rat in their room. Rodent bait traps placed around the rooms, which says a lot. The hotel is dirty, run-down and poorly maintained. Beds and linens were unclean, there were holes and garbage under the beds and along the walls, and the overall hygiene was very poor.Staff were unhelpful and dismissive, and handling of the situation was inadequate.
Cons -
- The furniture was very dated and there was no iron in the room. The bathroom could have used updating as well.
- Dated, not the cleanest, booked a shared bathroom by mistake and couldn’t upgrade.
- Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I felt unwell after my stay.

Location only
Staff was unpleasant and rude. Dirty room
The location
We didn’t have bed frames. Mattresses were on box springs on the floor. No one explained the multiple doors that lead into our room or where the bathroom was. Bathroom was disgusting to say the least. Questionable stains in bathroom. We ended up moving furniture to ensure no one could get into our room. Overall it was a place to sleep. Wouldn’t have extended our stay.
The location is great
The hotel is a disgrace. It's not worth the money. Substand furniture. A TV that had all the wires hanging out so didn't work. The windows didn't lock. The shower was mouldy. There was a suspicious noises and rustling during the night which suggests potential vermin.
Bad, photos on booking very misleading
It was a pretty bad experience. Really unclean and really did not meet any expectations. Was pretty dirty, pretty much no service.
Location
Everything.- no soap in bathroom - no heating- TV doesn't turn on- Rubbish left in room (so clearly wasn't cleaned properly)- no teaspoon for tea- panel in wall was on the floorIt was a terrible terrible experience, not worth saving a few quid to book this room. Cut your trip short or spend a bit more money somewhere else.
Good location , you can go all famous streets from the hotel by walking. Big room is very comfortable and the staff is very helpfull
3 bedroom with kettle, when asked for cups, only1 provided.dirty room clothes left hanging from previous occupancy. very noisy as windows ill fitting.
all of above waited 1.5 hours and 3 visits to reception nor to have problems resolved
Good value for money, it was just an ensuite room; all i needed.
Nobody was at reception for 30 minutes when i arrived, it was ok, i went for a pint.
The location
Everything else. Utter filth. If this is the calibre of the hotels you represent, I won't be using you again . If it wasn't so late on a Friday night in london, I wouldn't have stayed!!! The place was filthy, the bathroom floor was bending when stood on. The pillows were rolled up bits of duvet put inside a pillowcase
Excellent location for Covent GardenComfy bedClean bedding and towelsClean private bathroom
Room very dated and tired - easily remedied by fixing the broken tile, the frayed carpet, etc this hotel has massive potential to be stunning.Door to our room rattled every time the corridor door or other room doors were closed. We had to wedge something in to get some sleep.Walls paper thin. Can hear next doors conversation.Bathroom door didn’t close. We booked a “garden view” room and got the ugly basement flat type view.Hotel said they didn’t offer luggage storage and we had to pay extra for a location through “Stasher”, £12 later and yes, you guessed it - the storage location was this hotel!! What a con to squeeze more money out of guests, very disappointed they didn’t offer this service for free.
Great location
Very dated - clean bedding and towels- room very tired
Lovely old building but very neglected
We were at very top of hotel no lift loads of steps to climb very tired and dirty clean bed tho location ok
Location
Very run down. No breakfast. No toiletries. Folder in bedroom from previous management offering facilities that don't exist.
The location was good, but that is the only positive point.
I am leaving this negative review because of a very serious incident that the hotel completely ignored.Early in the morning, a man opened the door to my room from the outside. When he saw that I was awake, he immediately left. I reported this to the staff right away, and they told me they would speak to the manager and check the cameras. However, I never received any explanation, follow-up, or support. No one told me who entered my room or how someone else could have a key that opens it.On top of this, the room was not very clean, which already made the stay uncomfortable. The location was good, but that is the only positive point. The lack of security, the failure to investigate a serious situation, and the complete disregard from the staff are unacceptable. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this hotel.
Fantastic location. It’s a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The place is clean enough but the decor is vey tired.
The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The door of the room had obvious damage suggesting it had been forced at some point- which doesn’t inspire confidence. Some sort of traps on the stair well - is this a good sign?
Incredible value for money Lovely location and so centralBacks on to a fabulous gardenVery helpful staff
Nothing to complain about
Leaving after my 2 day stay.
The room was nothing like or as shown in pictures on the site.We were given another room that was only slightly better. Both rooms were supposed to be doubles but only had itineraries for single occupancy.... . Dirty, tired and unloved.
