    Pros +

    • It was easy to access. The room was clean and comfortable and it was quiet despite being so close to Kings Cross.
    • Walking distance from King's Cross Station. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel's online check-in concept made it easy for me as I arrived late at night. Very clean room. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. The room is not perfectly soundproof but acceptable as this is not a luxury hotel. The room price is reasonable for the location and comfort.

    Cons -

    • I was OK but the stairs (no lift) was a challenge for people with large suitcases.

Safe and secure entry . Close to King's Cross St Pancras station

No window but we knew this when booking. Perfect for a convenient overnight stay but wouldn't want the same room for any longer.

Affordable accommodation right next to Kings Cross St Pancras. Booking system is seamless - we received an email with door code and room numbers. Shower was good, bed was really comfortable. There are a lot of stairs and corridors (it is a bit of a rabbit warren) but this is clearly explained on the website before you book. There is a Sainsbury's local right next to the Keystone front door so morning pastries were easy to find! There is also a very nice cafe about 200 metres away. Ear plugs were provided in the room although I didn't need them.

Great central location, so close to Kings Cross which is brilliant! Lots of thoughtful touches, like chocolates on the pillows, little welcome note, plenty of tea and coffee sachets, very comfy bed, nice dark curtains, lovely big shower and a no fuss, self check in, which we really like!

It is a noisy location, but that is to be expected! It’s a hotel right near Kings Cross station and on a main busy road. The noise from outside is not something the owners can have any influence on. However, there are some things they can have an influence on. My partner went outside to smoke, early on the Sunday morning, and stood under the porch area as it was raining heavily. Within a minute or 2 a member of staff came out and told him he could not stand there to smoke and needed to move away. That’s fair enough, not wanting someone smoking by the entrance door. However, the morning before (Saturday) there were 3 dirty and smelly, non residents, on the doorstep smoking crack. These people were straight on my partner as soon as he left the building to smoke, asking him for cigarettes. Which he did give to them, as he didn’t want to have any potential confrontation, No member of staff came out that morning asking people not to do illegal drugs on the doorstep, and it was a similar time of day as to when my partner was asked not to smoke there (around 8am) It was not very nice having people smoking drugs on the doorstep, and no sign of staff making them move on, but my partner smokes a regular cigarette and within a couple of minutes he is asked to move away. Perhaps you should consider putting up a no smoking sign by the entrance door and be more vigilant over who is on the doorstep!

The location, price and self check in were great.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable meaning it was actually quite difficult to sleep well.Would I stay again? Probably.

Great location. Large room. Very comfortable and clean.

Friendly staff in the bar area were helpful with the heating .

The room was very small but comfortable for a night.

Super clean, reasonably quiet, little treats left in the room. The room had everything you could wish for.

Lack of receptionist. After we entered the room (luckily at 11.30pm), the code no longer worked, so we couldn't leave for breakfast and come back for the bags. No one around to ask for help.

The room and bathroom were clean and the mattress was comfy. It was also very central and I would say good value for money if I'd been able to sleep

It was very hard to sleep due to the noise of the main road, even with the earplugs provided which are uncomfortable and have left my ears sore and itchy. Even with those in I didn't get more than 20-30 minutes before being woken again by a loud noise. It's a shame as, although the room was small it initially seemed like a good value stay. If they could soundproof the windows better this would be perfect for solo travellers. I would also have welcomed a small reading light by the bed.

Great location. Spotlessly clean. Staff all helpful

Only negative was noise from other guests coming in late at night. Not much the hotel can do about that.

    10LawrencePosted on: 2-6-2026

Really enjoyed my stay. The staff were super friendly, the room was immaculately clean, and the location is spot on. The price point is exactly right for what the hotel offers and genuinely exceeded my expectations. The self check-in system is brilliant – no queues, no waiting around, just straight to your room. I stay in London regularly and will definitely be coming back.

There is no lift but they do tell you very clearly when booking.

The hotel is in a great location, making it really easy to get around the city, and it felt welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well presented, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.It was a self check in hotel, which was great for ease. Everything was explained in the confirmation prior to my arrival and super easy. Great Value for money. Had a lovely little pub downstairs too with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Central locationEverything seem new and cleanly paintedThank you for the coffee and tea it was much appreciatedEverything was clean and comfortable, especially the bedding

I didn’t know we were on the fourth floor and as we are over 60 years old, it was a struggle climbing up 70 steps up and down up and downThe spare bed needs a thicker mattressIt would be very helpful to have a tea towel in the kitchen

Location perfect for a late return Eurostar. Only 7 minutes walk from St Pancras.Communications and code access all clearly communicated.Small but lovely room at the back, very comfortable bed, large shower and excellent soft towels, sheets etc. Appreciated the complimentary chocolates and biscuits with provided coffee.

The nature of the building means there are lots of steps and twists and turns to get to the room with our suitcases but we managed. The hotel were quite clear about this situation. So not a complaint, but worth noting if you struggle with your cases.
