- Location, comfortable bed , size of bathroom
- My wife and I were travelling with our young adult daughter, who has learning disabilities, and the reception staff at check‑in could not have been more welcoming to her. The team at breakfast the following morning, and again at check‑out, engaged warmly with our daughter, who was excited to tell them she had been to the Paddington Musical. Their kindness alone gave the hotel our seal of approval. Our room was on the third floor at the front of the hotel, and the traffic noise late on Friday evening was intrusive. The room itself was warm, clean, and had a good‑sized bathroom. However, I was disappointed to find that one of the beds was a sofa bed, despite the room being described as having two beds and the images showing this. As we were only staying for one night and had limited time between check‑in, dinner, and the theatre, we decided not to raise it.The hotel is a short walk from Covent Garden and around 25 minutes on foot from Euston Station.Happy to Return
- An attractive, well presented, clean hotel. Attentive staff and a great breakfast with lots of choice
Cons -
- Cost of food in hotel restaurant, No tissues provided in room, We had to ask for a non slid bath mat & it took more than an hour to receive it.
- Secondary Double Glazing in the room could do with an upgrade to reduce traffic noise
- Quite expensive

Location was perfect for us. Was clean and aircin was good
Beds were too firm for us, bar was exceptionally expensive, even for London.
The hotel is worth considering primarily because of its location. It is just a 3-minute walk from the British Museum and about a 30-minute walk to Big Ben. Covent Garden is also only 7–8 minutes away on foot. The rooms are not bad, but they are fairly average. For the same price, you may find hotels offering better-quality rooms. In fact, I stayed at another hotel under the same management for the first three days, where the rooms were more comfortable and stylish at the same rate. The rooms here feel slightly worn and tired. They do not provide complimentary bottled water, but there is complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms. The service system operates quite slowly, and you may need to repeat your requests more than once. Once, I had to call technical service to have the window opened; however, the staff member who came was quick and friendly.Overall, if you do not mind somewhat dated rooms, the hotel is a good choice thanks to its location.
Great location to walk to the West End, lots of nice places to eat and drink in the area, this is our second stay and will book again in March
It was way too hot which made it very uncomfortable to sleep
Great location. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Close to tube station.
Location
Poor security. My son’s room was broken into and his wife’s new wedding ring +£400 cash was stolen. No response from the hotel management and police closed the case due to lack of evidence.Where is the cctv in the hotel corridors?
The staff was very kind and helpful.
Room, bed, windows that cannot be opened. No mini bar. Shower, no socket near the bed, two connected beds instead of one big bed. Overall the bath room was a bit worn out.
Convenient location for the west end, theatres etc. Attractive building with modern decor. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We were able to check in early as our room was ready. They will store luggage while you explore London, even after checkout. The room was clean and spacious with a comfortable king size bed. En-suite bathroom with a good shower and plenty of space. Coffee machine was appreciated.
No biscuits in the room or decaf coffee
Location
I had a disabled room, which I did not need, but I did notice that the room and bathroom were not thought out.
Bath room was clean and comfortable
Food in restaurant was very poor we told staff meal was burnt and no cheese in nachos no discount was given offer to recook but we had a theatre show to go to. Service in restaurant was poor only one staff member he was pleasant but not able to give us quick service for drinks etc
Location, staff and breakfast
Location was good. Clean & comfortable.
It was quite basic and the rooms could do with being updated & more welcoming.I wouldn’t rate it 4* only 3* at best.
room was acceptable for the rate. Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable.
I booked the hotel over others as I was arriving in the evening and according to the website it said the restaurant was open until 23.00. I had a long day and knew I would arrive around 9-9.30pm and would want food. I arrived 9.30pm and the person on reception took an age to check me in. At 9.55pm when he had finished checking me in I asked about the restaurant he said it was closed due to a private party! Nothing on the website or booking said that. He then said the bar was open and I could get food there as the kitchen was open until 10pm. Then the staff member in the bar said the kitchen closed at 9pm!! They had no interest in trying to help me out. I had to go back out and find a restaurant to eat in at 10pm, not likely, and had to travel all the way to Leicester Square. So main point, very disappointed at not being able to eat at the hotel especially when it was th emain reason I chose it.
Location and staff were excellent. The room was small and a bit on the tired side, but it served its purpose, was clean and comfortable.
The view was not very good.
Location was excellent for our theatre visit, and proximity to tube and other areas of the west end to peruse.
A very hot room with a view of a wall, poor shower with minimal water pressure and couldn't get it above luke warm. Noisy air conditioning. Bare minimum bedding on beds that were not overly comfortable. Awful coffee at a mediocre breakfast. Nit worth the £230 for one night, even with the excellent location. Very disappointed.
Lovely hotel, very nice room even though we went for the basic double. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Great location.
Nothing to dislike.
Breakfast was lovely, staff were great
I requested and upgrade the week prior and the money was taken straight away but I couldn’t have the room when I arrived. I was given a bottle of wine for the inconvenience which was lovely.
Location, great breakfast included.
Room was very small.
