Pros +
- A minute's walk from the Tube Station. A hearty complementary breakfast (cereal, boiled egg, toast, fruit, ham and cheese). Staff were helpful and quick to answer our questions. The rooms were clean and the bed comfy.
- Had a place to sleep
- The front desk is friendly. Continental breakfast is provided. It is close to the underground train station and there are a lot of restaurants nearby.
Cons -
- There was tea, but no coffee (except for instant). There was no air conditioning, but that was fine for our visit in the fall--could be a problem during the summer months.
- Hotel is in disrepair. Main concern was that the plumbing didn't function properly. Water pressure so poor that we couldn't wash our hair so we went without. Shower flooded. Blinds inoperable. Lighting broken. Bed sagging years beyond its use-by date.
- Well where do I start? Dirty/stained comforter on bed, broken dresser, needed a deep cleaning and remodeling. We would never stay there again or recommend it.

Location and that was it

Close to underground
Toilet could not flush, Windows Would not close, radiator didnt work so we slept with all clothes.
Close to train station. The staff was friendly.
Mattress was lumpy and the springs could be felt. The mattress is probably 40 years old. The comforter was stained and the curtains dirty. The elevator was broken and the carpet on the stairs was filthy. The air conditioning did not work.
Manager of the hotel was too rude and unpolite
The location! Less than a minute's walk around the corner from Earl's Court tube station. The complimentary continental breakfast was most welcome too!
A few times, my key card wouldn't work but this was quickly resolved by issuing me with a new card. I also arrived much later than my anticipated check-in time and this was accomodated.
It was close to amenities.
Hotel was very basic, decor was dated and could do with abit of work on it, like the cracked wobbley tiles in the corridor (floor 4)A kettle and cups would be nice in the room.
Location is amazing!
Needed a bit of updating and maintenance, some room facilities like kettle and drinks and the bathroom automatic light shouldn’t be an external garden one….
The complimentary breakfast was OK. The location was good for my conference venue. Staff very good. My third stay at My Place Hotel.
Had 1 cold night as radiator did not work. Staff gave me a portable oil heater which was good.
The room was relatively big and very comfortable to stay in. Everything was clean and staff were friendly
Great location, good price with breakfast included, pleasant staff
Faulty light in the bathroom, pillows were poor quality and the temperature of the shower was hot and miss
Clean . Nice staff . Good value for money . Good location to travel around London from .
Nothing. Good enough for the money .
It was friendly, great location lovely sized room .
Only thing I can say as a little negative is that there are no drinks facilities in the rooms . Even though you can get a complimentary drink down stairs it's nice to make a hot drink within your room
The location was perfect, just around the corner from Earls Court underground station. The included breakfast was ok as was the complimentary tea and coffee.
Our room was on the top floor, perhaps out of sight, out of mind? It could have certainly benefited from some maintenance. The inner door handle on the bathroom was hanging off. The heating didn't work, possibly just a case of bleeding the radiators, which coupled with the inability to fully close the sash windows, meant it was very draughty and cold. The last morning only one of us was able to have a shower, as we lost all water in the room. When it eventually came back, we couldn't get the shower to work, the water would only run into the bath. We tried to call reception, but the phone didn't work! An outside call to the main hotel number resulted in the receptionist coming up. He couldn't really do anything, offered to show us how to use the shower, but that wasn't necessary. This hotel was booked as a triple room but we didn't get that, had a double and single bed.
Amazing location, really lovely staff.
Tiny bathroom, hotel is starting to be neglected (bath tap hanging off, wallpaper peeling off, cracked tiles in hallway
The location is very good. Lots of nearby shops and next to the tube station
The room was very small, barely had any room to move around or get ready for my day.
Management very abrupt no a...
The shower was broken not much room between the sink and and bath to get to the toilet . No way to make a drink in the room . Could only get a hot drink between 08:00 and 23:00 in the breakfast room . Only breakfast available no other meals not even a sandwich.
Close to tube station and ammenities
facilities were terrible, tv in room is ridiculously small and wouldnt even work properly would only allow me to stay on bbc one and couldnt even change the volume and then would cut out every so often. No kettle in room to make tea and coffee but has a fridge in middle of room which makes no sense to me.
