    Pros +

    • Excellent location within easy walking distance of Russell Square and King's Cross underground stations. Also nearby bus stops. Very clean, comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.
    • The room had recently been refurbished and was modern and felt very homely. The staff were lovely and accommodating and the breakfast was very tasty. I’m very happy I chose to stay in this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
    • Fabulous location and lovely staff! Breakfast was great and served with lots of smiles

    Cons -

    • Breakfast stops at 9.30am. Some hotels stop a little later on a Sunday so this would be nice. Not a major problem at all, just wouldn't have minded a little longer Sunday lie-in.No lift so the stairs to the top floor could be hard work if your fitness level is not great. The hotel does make this clear when you are booking though.
    • Cleanliness could have been a bit better
    • If you are light sleeper, please be aware that there will be underground train noises every 5-10 minutes during the day if you stay at -1 level.

Close to the tube station , lots of places to eat . Overlooking a tennis court and gardens . I didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that . Bed reasonably comfortable . Nice bathroom

I had a small room on the lower ground floor . That was not really an issue as I was on my own but if you are a light sleeper like me don’t have a room down there . The tube trains are very audible rumbling through every minute or so. They stoped at about 00.15 and started again at 5.40 am . I think on a Friday and Saturday it is all through the night . No view of the gardens .

Excellent location - only about an 8 minute walk from Euston Station. Bedroom & bathroom were spotless. Staff were all very friendly & breakfast was everything you could want.

Location to euston ,kings cross,Russell square is fab 5 to 10 min walk for each and so was to get to any theatre, breakfast was great ,hotel spotless, double room had lots of space ,fab

My wife has hip and knee problems ,so the stairs were a slight issue but we managed ok on the second floor ,and I’m sure if available the staff would have changed us to lower or ground ,apart from it’s a great hotel and we will definitely be going back there when we return

Great location , good breakfast and comfortable bed.

Would prefer a shower cubicle with a more powerful shower .

Great location, walking distance to Euston station. Very quiet.

Shower was quite small but absolutely fine for one night.

Location, clean, comfy bed & pillows

The number of steps to room (top floor) and no offer to help with my suitcase. Staff pleasant though felt a little transactional.

    5AnnePosted on: 1-19-2026

Room was very small. Bathroom extremely small. Narrow stairway to room. Window didn’t stay open - had to be propped. Would look for a different option next time.

    Great location, kind stuff

The bathroom is in desperate need of renovation, especially the shower. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were too hard to lie on. Our room was above the kitchen, and from 5 a.m. onwards, the room shook from the loud humming of the extractor fan. The room was cold, and the heater didn't warm it up until the next evening. The windows were drafty.

Room was small, but perect for one night. Breakfast and staff were simply amazing. Hotel sits in a beautiful terrace and only 7 mins walk from Euston. It's not The Ritz, but it's a very nice, reasonably priced and managed hotel

Nothing to complain about for price paid

Wonderful location, extremely quiet with pleasant views into the park.

the heat in the room kept giving off heat, and the room was very warm. (I was too cold while waiting for the New Year's Eve fireworks show.)The staff in the restaurant were also very nice. Since I missed the breakfast time, they tried their best to give me something to eat.

the price has gone up because of New year's eve.
