Pros +
- The location of the hotel was ideal for the exam centre I needed to be at, also round the corner from Marylebone High Street and lots of lovely shops and restaurants too...lovely bakery on the corner Gails, and Waitrose not far away.
- Location and room temp as it was nice and warm on a cold night.
- Handy for where we needed to be , close to great bars restaurants shops Marylebone high St. really cool vibe in this area of London,
Cons -
- Going into the room almost banged my face against the wardrobe on opening the door, and the window beside the bed was ajar at the top a gap filled with tissue paper which didn't do the job therefore the room was very cold which wouldn't have mattered if I was in London sightseeing as I wouldn't have been in the room. However I was studying before the exam the next day therefore I was so cold.
- There was a particularly awful sewage smell from the bathroom. So bad that in the morning we left without showering as we couldn’t stand the smell. The toilet seat was loose & the bed was very warn out with a lump in the middle.

Nothing was great
Location and clean
Major renovation next door , I always believe hotels should be up front about this, it gives confidence that you can trust the proprietor
Great location , very helpful staff
Small room
Lovely staff, great location for our needs and lovely and clean.
Convenient for UCLH hospital at Westmoreland Street
Ask for ground floor room it was a room for disabled. Double bed could only sleep one as you cannot Walk round bed as tv is on wall
CleanGood locationThe owner/staff were very friendly and helpful
Little outside noise but nothing earplugs didn’t sort out
The hotel was lovely, the staff were fantastic too. We felt very safe in our room, with a 24hr front desk and key card entry into both the room and the main entry, it was top tier. From the time we checked in, they were so friendly. Every time we came and went for the day they said hello, good morning or good night. They even saw I was on crutches and asked what type of bathroom that would be best for me and went above and beyond to help me be comfortable. The room was lovely, very clean, the bed very comfortable too. The breakfast, while simple, was delicious. As for the location, we didn't realise just how close we were to the high Street, some incredible cafes, shops and restaurants. We could get everywhere we wanted using the hotel as a base. Very impressed all round.
Basement room which was a bit small and very basic facilities, but to be fair probably ok for a 2 star hotel.
Welcoming staff and a comfortable hotel. Location perfect for local hospital in same road
its in a great location, the staff were welcoming, it had a lift. Baker street tube station is on the doorstep next to Madam Tussauds, and the restaurants at the end of the road are beautiful and plentiful. Price point is very reasonable for the London location
room was tiny and tired. Would be happy to book again for a single night stays only but not sure I can live in that small if I'm away for a week
Very peaceful and quietFantastic ShowerStaff very friendlyBest hotel breakfast I’ve had for a very long time
£3.00 for a bottle of waterWasn’t a double bed, but two bed pushed together
The room was clean. the service, the location and staff was great.
Location excellent for the Wallace Collection, shops and restaurants. Room warm and comfortable.
Bathroom very small; washbasin inconvenient to use because it was so tiny and position of taps made it difficult to fill kettle. Washbasin plug kept sticking closed.
Location, VFM, room and breakfast
The hotel and the room were very clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was excellent; it’s central, safe, and in a very nice area, and also very close to the tube and buses. There were great shops nearby and plenty of options for food, coffee, and everything else. I really liked everything, and it will definitely be an option I consider next time I visit.
Location
The rooms were cold as they had limited the heater temp in the room. We asked several times to increase it but in the end they controlled it. We ended up sleeping in jackets.
A good breakfast
There was a strong fishy smell coming from the bathroom. We were in room 116
Good location. Friendly staff , room was clean.
It was a bit small and basic
