Malmaison London

Went to an extra effort on my birthday. Added to an already nice weekend. Nice location handy to the very good Elizabeth Tube line. Well appointed room.

Pleasant and efficient staff, very clean and modern

Quiet location. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Well appointed and with great shower. Friendly staff. Close to Elizabeth line.

Restaurant was good

Corner room so half was plain empty entrance area the other half was everything else small bed squeezed past bed to bathroom

The standard rooms are very small. The bed is small and there is not much room other than that

Room smaller than we'd thought. Breakfast okay. Shower had no power to it. Promised a luxurious stay, but disappointed on that score.

The hotel was in a pleasant location and the room was a decent size.

Everything was so dark! The bar was gloomy and unwelcoming and the bar prices were too high. There were wires hanging from the restaurant light fightings which were meant to look cool but reminded us of spider's webs. Likewise the staff's 'funky' non-uniforms may have been acceptable in the Nineties but now look slovenly and grubby. I'd give a slightly higher mark to a non Malmaison hotel but I was disappointed compared to others in the group I have stayed at.

Confortable bed.

The hot water didn’t work properly, either you burn or get cold. I’ve asked for a late checkout, they have confirmed it but never said it was going to be an extra charge, It would have been correct to inform us of the fee prior to check-in.At the time of check-in, they did not charge it. When we checked out, they charged it

1st floor room was very clean and comfortable. Everything worked (TV, shower, hair drier etc). Staff were great, from check in to bar staff to restaurant staff in the morning for breakfast. Would recommend and would definitely stay again !!!.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Malmaison, and it truly exceeded our expectations.Room:The bedroom was exceptionally comfortable—without question the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in at any hotel. The quality of the mattress and pillows was outstanding; in fact, the pillows were so good that we researched them during our stay and have since purchased the same ones for our own home. Everything about the room felt well thought out, restful, and high quality, making it a perfect place to relax after a full day exploring the city.Breakfast:Breakfast was excellent, with a wide and well-balanced choice to suit all tastes. The quality of the food was superb, and what really stood out was the breakfast team. The staff were extremely attentive, friendly, and genuinely helpful without ever being intrusive. It made for a very relaxed and enjoyable start to each day.Location:The location was ideal. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to visit, with most destinations around a comfortable 30-minute walk away. It was perfectly placed for exploring London while still feeling calm and well situated.Overall, this was a fantastic stay from start to finish. We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend Malmaison to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an excellent base for a London visit.

Honestly, nothing – everything exceeded our expectations.

Brilliant location next to a very picturesque square. We had gorgeous trees to look at from our window. The room was excellent and although slightly smaller than some, was large enough for our needs. Staff were very friendly.

The toilet seat was wobbly and we alerted staff to that upon our departure. There was some confusion about our departure time, partly due to poor communication between staff. Poor gluten free options at breakfast.

Bit mean on certain things - only 4 coffee pods - nothing other than big bottles of shampoo / wash - no moisturiser or anything else

This was a really nice hotel, in a good location. The hotel had a nice vibe, the rooms were spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. Kastouri also gave us useful information for the evening.

Great building in a great location

Nothing negative about the hotel. Only feedback I would give is that the reception need to be clearer on breakfast guidelines when checking in. Ie if room only and wish to have breakfast you must book it pre midnight apparently for the cheaper rate. We were not made aware of that caveat for the cheaper rate , in fact not made aware of any different rates at all , we were only told if the one rate. This caused an issue at checkout.

Friendly receptionist. Comfortable bed. Wonderful location. Good tea making facilities, like all English hotels.

There was nothing in the minibar. The heating system was rather noisy and it was hard to control. I had to enter my details again on checking in, despite having checked in online as they advised.

Nice coffee machine but not even UHT milk! What's the point if there's no milk or milk substitute.
