    Pros +

    • Location is excellent
    • The proximity to the "Tube" Underground train station and within walking distance to the museums.
    • Great location - comfortable but small rooms

    Cons -

    • The Metro Station does not have an elevator nor escalator so you have to manage the luggage thru about 40 stairs steps. This is not the hotel’s fault obviously but it should be considered if planning to reach the hotel via Train/Metro
    • The drain in the shower didn't drain very fast and there was always fear of it running over onto the floor. The extra steps in the hallways made luggage transport more difficult.
    • Fried food odors in hallway

Location! Across the street from Gloucester Road Tube. Cafe Nero, one block away for quick breakfast. Publix across the street!

The restaurant is well staffed offering a lovley breakfast. The locatioon of the hotel is very close to Glocester Station. Walkability to Kennsington Gardens is easy. The rooms are clean, well appointed, with comfy beds.

The steps to the front of the hotel are steep, allow the bellmen to help lift your bags.

The room was tiny and wanted me to pay 80 to upgrade to a normal room.

Lovely room. Great location. Very helpful staff.

The breakfast is not great for a hotel of this quality. It's missing simple things like muesli/granola and natural yogurt. The coffee is terrible!

    Friendly staff nice decor

    Price point a tad expensive

The room (classic double) surpassed our expectations for the price we paid. Fantastic location right opposite Gloucester Road tube station, soundproofing works well so no need to worry about outside noises. Staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful in all areas. Will definitely book here again on our next visit to London

I’ve had better breakfast in similar hotels. Hot items (sausages bacon etc) were poor quality. Although everything else was lovely.

Great location and the staff in the reception area were first class.

Bar staff could have been a little better.

Beautiful property, very comfortable rooms, good breakfast selection, helpful friendly staff.

It was the perfect location, just 1 min from the entrance of Gloucester Road Tube Station. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful and room was perfect for a weeend stay

This hotel is a little gem. Gorgeously decorated inside. Super helpful staff.Tube station across the road means you’re in central London in minutes. Parking available. We requested adjoining rooms and what we got was ideal - a double room and a single with our own private lobby.

Location and close proximity to the underground.

Breakfast was just ok . Many buffet items were cold.

    10BeverlyPosted on: 2-9-2026

I booked a small room, and it was actually larger than I thought, so that was a pleasant surprise. The location is so convenient, it was very clean, and the staff were very friendly. I would stay there again!

    7LeongPosted on: 2-8-2026

The bed was firm and comfortable. The pillow were of the right thickness and firmness that remained its firm without one's head being sank into it after awhile. The location was within walking distance to most cafes, restaurants and places of interest. Also being near to Gloucester Road Station is also a plus. They serve water in glass bottles and the kettle was stainless steel and not the plastic type.

The room deco is rather dated. You need to ask for slipper from the reception as it was not available automatically like most hotels. Also 4 bottles for daily use would be ideal instead of 2 bottles.

We loved the hotel. The staff were very welcoming. The location was great- a quiet space but right across the street from the Tube. The breakfast was good. I would absolutely book again if I were to come to London.

Staff not so friendly. There were bugs on the corridors and in my room (4th floor) bugs in winter that’s a weird one.Bed not very comfy.
