    • Chill lounge is great. Terrance is bonus Options areas to hangout/relax or focus. Thank you Location at centre of transport, shopping etc
    • Great Facilities with large communal room with Microwave, Kettle, Tea, Coffee and Water. Flat screen TV for those who wanted to see Rugby World Cup in the bar at ground floor kevel or in the communal room.
    • Very nice staff. Special thanks to cleaning staff, showers/toilets cleaned several times a day. Sockets (uk, eu, 2x usb) and bedlights by every bed; most beds have curtains. Toilets and showers separate, shelves in shower to keep your stuff on.

    Cons -

    • A little noisy at weekends but only a minor inconvenience.
    • Well... St. Chris in Greenwich has similar shower modules, but theirs has another, lower shelf under the pegs (about seat-high). Much more convenient for people who must stretch to reach the shelf above the pegs.
    • Noise: from downstairs, passersby, street, etc. Poor bedroom layout. All doors slammed shut loudly, esp the communal showers' doors - this could be easily and cheaply rectified.

The hostel's location is great because it's close to the tube. However, because it's in zone 2, the cost of public transportation increases. Other than that, the beds were really comfortable. The hostel staff were kind and helpful.

The beds were not as they appeared in the photos. The photos showed a two-tier bunk bed with storage space underneath. However, I stayed in a three-tier bunk bed. Furthermore, there was no space to store my suitcase. This is because the lockers in the room were very small and inadequate. If this service is not available, you can update the photos. Also, the room was very cramped. I had seen a lot of negative comments about cleanliness. I can't blame the hostel staff for this. They cleaned the entire hostel very well every day. However, the people staying there were so messy that the cleaned hostel became extremely dirty within 1-2 hours.

Perfect location, nice and helpful staff.

Cleanliness needs a little bit more attention.

St. Christopher's is a professionally run hostel, with everything in place for a comfortable stay. The beds are clean and fresh lining, no issues. Bunk beds have privacy curtains. Rooms are not very spacious, but enough space for luggage. Bathrooms and showers are plenty at each level, and kept mostly clean. Cleanliness in a hostel to a great extent also depends on the other people staying. I had no issues, mostly. Check in and checkout is smooth. Yes, there is a bar below, and it can get a little noisy at times, but its not a big issue. However, they do offer good discounts on food and drinks for guests of the hostel. The hostel is very safe, and women shouldn't have any qualms. They have a seperate female shower as well.Location is excellent, being right opposite the Shepards Bush station.

Only downer is the locker in the room is a little small. And checkout is at 11 but check-in at 3, which has a bit of stretch. I think, a 1pm check-in should be the norm. Also, no lift in this property, so it's a bit of a lug for people with heavy luggage especially to the second floor. Also, breakfast, which you pay 5 pounds extra was a little sparse at Shepards Bush - Ham Slices, Eggs, Muiseli were missing in the continental breakfast. So that was a bit of a downer!

The room was clean and peaceful. The showers and toilet facilities are clean and there are plenty of toilets and showers in the hostel. The breakfast was good and plenty of food to choose from.

The bedroom and the staff in reception. Also. the fact they have a hairdryer in the bathrooms. Also the location is near every shop and bus stops and tube.

It looks unkept. No kitchen,no hygienic drinking water for visitors.

The Cleanliness and private bathroom for my hall.

No lift, they truly need an elevator and a full fridge for the guest. It would be nice if they had a kitchen as well.

Super close to the metro (tube), pretty central location, close to central London. 24/7 reception, linens and bed were comfy-ish if you're on the top one, curtains are a game changer , good for privacy.

One of the few hostels that I've stayed without a kitchen not even a fridge! No running / tap water, staff had to fill up a jar daily. Rooms were super hot, 3-bed bunks; thankfully I was on the top - can't imagine what it feels like being on the bottom or mid, you can,t even sit. Smelled musty / moldy Okay for a night's sleep but that's it

Kind staff, good location, low price

Toilets, showers for all gender. Smelly.

Location close to main underground and bus station

Ventlation in rooms , no air conditioners

    3LarissaPosted on: 6-29-2025

The sheets were actually clean and hair free. The location is good.

I am not an expert but I think there was mold in the room and it was super humid. A bathroom flooded, the beds are extremely uncomfortable, pillows too. The beds nearly tumble over when you try to get into the upper bunk thats quite unnerving. There are no benches/space to put something on/or a way to sit in the room at all. The floor wasn't clean. The toilets were super dirty, it was nasty. A male staff came into the all female room in the middle of the night to check on something unannounced. Even the lowest ventilator setting was way too loud, that thing was basically industrial and therefore no way to sleep through that so you'll have to live with the humid heat. The breakfast was..okay. The bread and croissants weren't really good quality, a small selection but overall okay. This for 2 nights for 127 pounds? It's a rip off. And the staff was nice but not exactly that welcoming, nor thrilled to be there.

So clean and location is very perfect , close to underground and overground stations and everything is just around

Well, just ppl were snoring at night which actually wasn’t the fault of the hostel owners

The Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming . The accommodation was very secure . I had to get past security at the door of the bar before checking in and collecting a key in order to gain access to locked accommodation wing next door. I arrived before check in time and the staff kindly looked after my luggage , even taking into the back of the bar when I left the building.Great experience all round .. Comfortable beds and quiet room with excellent shower facilities. The bar was ideal , serving beer and liquor off all varieties . The Guinness was smooth and well poured .I liked that I could watch 2 different football matches simultaneously on big screens while also being able to key an eye on Ronnie O Sullivan on the telly in my big comfortable booth.

Plastic Glasses in the bar , sure it’s to be expected in a busy Sports bar .
