NOX Paddington

Staff were very accommodating, very good location - few minute walk away from Paddington station, very good value for money

The room was spacious and comfortable so i had a restful.overnight stay. The room had nice chairs and an area to use a mini desk for work emails and other hand writing notes. Hotel bed was relatively comfortable. Bathroom had good lighting, two large towels, nice shower just not very powerful but bathroom had enough toiletries for overnight stay.

Initially i was shown a hotel room in the basement that i did not like. I immeadiately felt uncomfortable and claustrophobic. The receptionist was over friendly trying to be funny but it was not professional but thankfully he did change my room to a better room.on ground floor so i waa grateful. I did watch a movie on the Tv but didnt realise it was samsung internet tv so it kept buffering so was difficult to watch the entire film

The location was perfect for travel connections. I travel regularly to London for work so this was a priority

The room stank of cigarettes. Reception gave me an air spray but it only masked it for a short period. The bed, firmest bed I’ve been on but a good size. The shower head didn’t work, resulting in using the hand held at risk as the temperature kept fluctuating. The shower gel needs scissors or a string set of teeth, not ideal first thing in the morning. On my return from day 1 the room was cleaned, but my bag which was in a cupboard on a top shelf moved. ( I made a point to set it in position before hand). Raised it all with staff

Quiet, decent size room in a good neighborhood, lots to see around and places to eat, easy to get to main attraction points. Staff really friendly.

The room was comfortable, spotless and spacious. The shower was fab! The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The stairs might have posed a problem but the staff carried my suitcase up so all good.

We had a very good stay at NOX Paddington. The property was clean and in a great location, just a short walk from Paddington Station, which made getting around London really easy. The room was tidy and well-equipped with everything we needed. Our room was in the basement, facing a lower part of the courtyard, but it stayed quiet throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

On the downside, the building doesn’t have a lift, and the stairs are quite narrow. The corridors and common areas also feel a bit tight. The walls are thin, so you can hear noise from other rooms. Wi-Fi in the basement was a bit weak for video calls, which was the main inconvenience for us.

The location is very nice and close to the Paddington station, the staff was very kind and extra helpful, exceptional! Will gladly visit again in the future!

View was poor but that doesn’t affect the stay. The room I was in was right by reception so was awoken throughout the night with new comers and leavers along with suitcase clattering.

The bed is comfy. Room is quite spacious and big enough when you open the luggages. overall is very good place to stay

there is no lift and you have to carry your luggages through the stairs

The location was great as it was so close to Paddington station and we had tickets to a BST event in Hyde Park, just 10 mins walk from our accommodation. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the whole process was smooth and easy.

We only stayed 1 night so everything was great for what we needed.

I was not given a breakfast. The location was nice.

very clean modern hotel near Paddington. Room was spacious and huge TV with all the channels!Staff super helpful - carried my bags up to the 3rd/4th floor as i am heavily pregnant.

bed was quite uncomfortable for me. very firm and pillows not very soft. being on the 4th floor was hard with steps (i had requested a ground floor room but perhaps no availability).

The staff at the desk were super friendly and helpful . The room was spacious and very clean. The bedding was cotton and the bed was comfortable. My room faced the street and it was quiet but I had to close the curtains at night. The location was great as it was close to Paddington Station and only 15 minutes train ride from the airport on the Heathrow Express.

I did.not like that it was a hotel you cant just walk into. I had to be buzzed in on arrival and you cant see through the door to hotel reception. Whilst the room is clean and comfortable, the decor is garish lacking any style and the lighting is too bright. There is no refrigerator in the room. The toiletries provided are in sachets and not of qreat quality. What was particularly upsetting on my last day was that I left my luggage in storage after checking out at 10am. I went for a leisurely breakfast nearby. When I returned two hours later I coukd not gain access to the hotel. No one responded to the doorbell or my frantic knocking. There is no phone number posted outside the door for one to call. The number I found online would not go through. On the website there is no phone number listed. On Booking.com there is no phone number listed. I called another Nox Hotel to see if they had a number. They gave me one but no one answered. It was extremely frustrating resulting in me missing my train that I was scheduled to take. In the end the front desk person came out of another building, apologized stating that there had been an emergency. He should have put a note on the door saying he would be baxk soon. He should not have left the desk with np one to cover for him. On top of the stress and anxiety I had to make international phone calls at my expense and rebook a train ticket at my expense. I understand things happen and the staff are lovely but this type of situation should not have happened. ⁹

The hotel benefits from a great location - I particularly enjoyed the neighborhood. Above all, the staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful !

Lovely staff, well decorated hotel and a good amount of space for a single room. Kettle, coffee machine, hair dryer and shampoo sachets were perfect for my short stay. Everything felt modern and recently decorated, and the location was great. It was very good value for money on the night I stayed. I was grateful for both aircon and a radiator in the room.

Unfortunately there’s very little soundproofing, and people exiting their rooms and moving around on the floor above is very loud and disturbing. The bed was quite hard, and there was only one plug socket I could find and it was in an inconvenient location. The room could have been a little cleaner overall, but was acceptable.

Spacious room. Clean. Refurbished bathroom. Comfortable bed. Location. Low price for central London.

Noise from main road.

This was my second stay at this hotel, and I'm very happy with it. If I'm ever back in London, I'll choose this hotel again (assuming the prices don't change drastically). I recommend it. On the plus side - location, nice staff, cleanliness and the lack of carpeting in the room, which is so common in the UK and something I hate. Minus - no electrical socket by the bed.
