    • First, I booked my stay online from the 17th to the 19th for 15 pounds per night, which totals 30 pounds. When I arrived, they told me the booking I made was for a mixed dorm full of men — I was the only female there, which can't be right because I can't be the only woman sleeping where all others are men. I asked for a female dorm, but they said it was full and refused to give me my money back. I then asked for the price of a single room, and they told me it was 50 pounds per night. Since I was staying two nights, that would be 100 pounds, so I paid the remaining 70 pounds to cover the balance after paying 30 pounds already. To my surprise, when they showed me my room, it had two beds and was quite small, with the bathroom and toilet outside. I checked out today and realised the room I stayed in actually costs 30 pounds per night, not 50. So why did they charge me 50 pounds for a double bed in one room when the actual price is 30? And why did I pay 100.2 pounds instead of just 60 pounds? And also when booking they should make it very clear that its mixed roomIts was after paying that it was showing mixedWhat I saw when i was booking was just available rooms

I liked the work of the administrator, who was helpful and polite, as well as the cleanliness of the toilet and room and the absence of bedbugs in our room 112a. My husband and I and our 3 sons checked our mattresses and bedding and did not see anything suspicious.

I didn't like the size of the room, the height of the beds which doesn't allow me to sit on them with my height of 160 cm, I constantly hit my head on the upper tier of the bed, the lack of chairs, the lack of any towels: there is nothing to wipe your hands with after washing in the toilet, there is nothing to wipe yourself with after showering :( If you want to dry yourself with a towel after showering you can buy a green microfiber one for 6 pounds at the reception, which is quite strange in my opinion. The water in the shower is too hot and not adjustable, you have to constantly hold the button with your finger for the water to flow. The lockers for storing things do not have locks, you need to have your own or buy one at the reception for 4 pounds. Be prepared to wake up at night from the noise and banging of other hostel guests' doors as well as from the loud sound of the fire siren at 6 am. They write about breakfast available until 10 am, but when we arrived at 9:00 there was almost no food, as well as dinner until 9 pm, when we asked about any food at 6 pm we were told that there was nothing left. In general, if you can find something else in this area, then it's better to go there. I do not recommend anyone to book and live in this hostel and especially to families with children, we were just lucky that there were no bedbugs in our room 112a, or we did not see them, because if all that I listed above were added to the infection, and tick bites of me and my family, then it would be a real disaster. I do not recommend it. Do not make the mistake we made, do not waste your time and money on this hostel, it will not bring you any joy and pleasure. Take care of yourself and your family.

The staff was amazing. Also I adored the view and the location.

I didn't like the tap of the bathroom because it wasn't practical.

Wonderful location. Historic building! Very safe and friendly. 24/hr reception desk and comfortable rooms.

Would’ve loved there to be a kitchen to cook in

Bedbugs and lying burnt out stuff Dirty place wouldn't recommend to a starving dog

The dirty bedding upon arrival Why would there be blood and food crumbs on clean sheets???

It was clean and great location, right on the park! We made a friend in our dorm and had a fun time.

Beds don’t have curtains which I think is essential in a hostel. It also means when people come in and turn on the lights if others are napping, they get woken up. No lift and lots of stairs in our building!

Location is great. Adjacent to the Royal albert hall, and Hyde Park. Uncrowded in the winter.

    Lacked a privacy curtain.

Rooms were good,Good place to have a hostel situated to get around the city

They're rules regarding room changing was completely annoying and a strain to me and my personal circumstances They should have lift for people to get to higher levels as the stairs are impossible with any form of bag dangerous They didn't offer any apology or assistance

    This Hostel operates as Shelter!...

This was one of the worst and most distressing experiences I have ever had.The location itself is already extremely problematic. The place is hidden inside a park, very difficult to access, isolated, and completely unsuitable for any kind of tourist accommodation. From the moment I arrived, I felt something was very wrong. This place does not function as a hostel at all. It operates as a shelter for people experiencing homelessness, and that reality is impossible to ignore. I shared rooms with elderly men and women, pregnant women, intoxicated individuals, and visibly unwell people. Many of them had not showered for days, there was a strong smell, and the overall environment was deeply uncomfortable and upsetting.People were constantly arguing, complaining, and expressing despair about their situation, openly talking about having nowhere else to live. This created an atmosphere of tension, fear, and emotional exhaustion. As a solo woman, I did not feel safe, welcome, or protected. To make everything worse, I was bitten repeatedly by bed bugs. I still have visible marks all over my body, which is not just disgusting but a serious health concern. No accommodation listed on a platform like Booking should ever allow guests to be exposed to this.I left feeling violated, shocked, and emotionally drained. If this place is being used as emergency housing, it should absolutely not be advertised as a hostel or hotel. This is not tourism accommodation, and presenting it as such is misleading and irresponsible. This experience affected me both physically and emotionally, and I would never recommend this place to anyone. It should be removed from Booking immediately.

    Park around the property.

I got badly beaten by bed bugs during first night of my stay so had to cancel remaining 2 nights and asked for refund.

The location was good, and it was easy to reach. It's in the middle of a park, son there is no noise in the night.

There was only one bathroom and shower for twelve in the room. The shower doesn't have a temperature regulator. Each bunk bed is for three people, which is really uncomfortable.

The Hostel is great, rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. I really enjoyed the stay. Staff working there are very helpful and friendly. I wanted to mention Denis from the Reception team, who is very professional and was exceptionally helpful during my stay. Excellent experience with the hostel staff team who are available 24 hours. The common room and garden are generously big and beautiful to have some breakfast and other food.

Really nothing bad to say. I had a great experience with the hostel.

I liked staying in this hostel. Everything was great. And relatively close to a lot of Attractions like the Design Museum, Hyde Park, Natural History Museum, Notting Hill.
