Cons -
- Shower could have been a walk in with it being a family room
- Staff were fine. There was no water in the rooms so I asked at reception one night if there was somewhere to fill my water bottle up. The man who was on was nice and filled it up for me using the water filter in the breakfast room. What I found peculiar was when he filled up the water for me, he told me not to tell his manager as he was not allowed to do what he was doing. He was doing a good thing? The next morning I went to reception and asked if I could fill up my water bottle in the breakfast room (the only place that had a water dispenser in the hotel) and the reception told me no, that it was only included if you paid the £12 for breakfast. Very bad customer service. Room was fine and clean.
- The toilet had a yellow stain, the door barely closed because the handle seemed kinda broken, the shower had a really low pressure and it would take forever for the water to get warm enough. We were a group of 3 and they only gave us a very small tube of shower gel for each of the 3. The closet was big but still not enough for 3 people which I understand. The breakfast room was really small with almost no space and only 6 tables I think so if it was full people had to wait their turn for a while. There wasn't a wide variety of food, just simple things and repetitive. There is no elevator and we were on the top floor, so after a long day of walking and still had to walk up all of the stars it was horrible. The hallways were very narrow which made the climb more difficult

Location is fantastic with several tube stations near by, or to walk into Hyde. park, or Oxford Street,.
It is very clean, and the staff are so helpful.
Good
for London it's a good place for that price in that area. BUT there is no elevator (it's everywhere in the comments but once again), they charge deposit (maybe that's fair considering how much stuff I had in my room iron, heater etc.) but they also charge for storing my bags for 4 hours. and that's just the last drop for me...I don't think I paid for that enywhere in the world
Very comfy, five star beds. The room was clean and cosy.A Coffee maker would be an added bonus.
Their rooms were not good, and their clothes were not clean. We stayed there for one night only, we had booked for 2 days, one night stay there.
Friendly staff good location, spacious room
We were in the basement which was a lovely room but I’m assuming there was a kitchen or some sort of more public space on top of us as in the morning you could hear tables scraping and people cleaning super loudly and woke us up. Sheets had a small stain (possibly make up or fake tan) on them and the walls were quite dirty (in a couple areas looked like huge bogeys wiped on the walls but they were obvious, some was wear and tear but could do with a lick of paint as it just felt a little dirty!)
Very polite staff , the room was warm and big , the beds comfortable. Nearby Street is full with nice restaurants and Bayswater station of the tube is 4 minutes away. Walking distance to Oxford street , Kensington palace and natural history museum. Posh area and safe
There is no brush in the toilet
The room was small but comfortable. The stairs were to much as the property had no lifts
Breakfast was basic and could they could have added a fruit as an alternative. They offered no alternative for the milk
Location was great, especially for the value
No air conditioning was pretty bad as there was a heat wave during our stay
I didn’t like the that the sink would clog up and take a very long time for the water to go down. Same thing happened with the shower drain. Also the stairs were small and cramped and they put me in the four floor.
Good location! Staff was nice and polite, facility was clean, rooms were stocked with essentials. The Breakfast coffee was hot and strong. Overall good experience.
No complaints.
The location is well-finished and the staff is super helpful and kind!! There are buses and two undergrounds near, so you can reach London's centre and major attractive points very easily.
I didn't like that the room was in the basement and that it didn't have a fan in the bathroom at least. Also I didn't really appreciate the carpet (moquette), but I know that it's very easy to find it in London hotels.
The hotel is on a very quiet street. Has 24 HR reception. The hotel was quiet during the 2 days I stayed. Staff very helpful.
It is near Bayswater station, where there are shops and bars. Room was clean and shower/hot water was good. Staff helped taking luggage to the room.
I have to say the experience has not been too enjoyble. We had a twin room which was newly decorated and the smell of paint was quite strong. We asked for a change and they gave us a room in the basement. We did not want the basement but apparently there was no other room available. At about 7am the room started to flood and the fire alarm to sound. I had to wake up my partner and in a state of panic try to save our belongings, get dressed and leave the room. We took about 5 minutes and when we evacuated, staff were in reception trying to silence the alarm. There was no question whatsoever about our wellbeing or our belongings. Actually, as they knew the cause of thw flooding/activation of the fire alarm, no one came down to check on us!! They offered us the room next to the flooded one for a while and then gave us one room fuether away on the basement. That room was unbelibeable hot, even with the window open in Winter in London so could not really sleep. Clearly the flood was not their fault (depending on their maintenance regime) but their response to the wellbeing of their guests was appalling.
Great staff, good room size
Amenities in the room, the shower space, the placement of the sink, the bathroom toilet seat doesn’t stay up straight, no control on temperature settings (got too hot at times), door handle of bathroom doesn’t work and has no lock, the room card would randomly stop working, no amenities in the hotel.
Accessible by public transport and nice neighborhood
One of the white towels had a black burn mark in the middle, which probably shouldn’t be given to guests.
Location was good, loved the elevator. The staff was very friendly and stored our bags for us.
In the description it said good wifi connection, but wifi was so bad that we couldn't even watch a video properly because it wasn't loading.
The location was amazing
Safety - we had people knocking at our door at night. The way the doors were locked, although locked, didn’t make us feel safe as two women travelling
