One of the showers got a broken tap and the water came boiling hot

The location gave one the opportunity to save on transport. Fact that cld eat own food in the bar area. The low cost for rooms on weekdays

There was no lift for luggage but the staff were very helpful with getting bags up the stairs to the room. No kitchen access.

Not much in way of areas that could sort stuff out something communal would have been good as don’t want to wake people when sorting out stuff

Had a really excellent time here. Never stayed here before but I will sure be coming back. The room was very spacious with soft lighting and the bed was extremely comfortable. My roommates were very considerate and never made too much noise at all after the watershed. Managed to get some good sleep here after a few busy days. There is a very lively bar downstairs if you`re keen although I was usually too exhausted most times. Great location with this hostel just 5 minutes around the corner from Euston Station. I`d heard favourable things about The Exmouth Arms from others but have never been in a position to try it until now.

The pub downstairs was a great place to socialise and the lockers were sufficient for a one-night stay with a small / medium backpack. Great location for walking distance to Euston and Kings Cross as well as tube links.

Location is good

Asked for top bunk i know never guaranteed but I asked months in advance. Very cheeky cheap bunks no Privacy like some hostels.

AMAZING ! The staff is very kind and helpful, the location is perfect with buses, tubes and the British Museum is barely 20min walk.

Might not be practical with a suitcase but a backpack will do the job very well.

You need to remember to take your key card with you every time you leave your room, even just for the toilet. Wristbands or lanyards would be useful.A chair or two in the rooms would be nice and maybe some floating shelves for the top bunks

Limited facility: one toilet for several rooms and no bath or shower seemed in sight! Thankfully it was just for a night (cos I missed my bus back home) and I was leaving at first light

Pub downstairs awesome. Staff efficient and straightforward. Close to train hub. I'd use them again. Oh, stairs narrow. May be an issue for anyone with big bags and poor balance.

Clear they were working to put on some polish but still rough. Not dirty, not clean. Bare bones. Reminds me of hostels 40 years ago. Yes I've used them for that long.

The worst place I've ever...

The size of the room is indecent for 6 people. I also believe it's against the law to host six people in a box room with a window that can be open only of few centimeters. No air, no space to move. There was a lady with horrible breath and it intoxicated the entire room, sleeping there has been a true nightmare. I booked for two nights but I left immediately after only one night without looking back. Absolutely the worst place I stayed during my frequent travels to London, and probably the worst place I've ever been. I would advise you to book another place, definitely. Spend few pounds more but avoid to end up here.

Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying that hostel if u value ur comfort plz do favor urself and stay in a hotel

The room and bed were extremely small, and there was a very bad smell in the room. The bathroom was also very dirty, tiny, and there was only one available. In addition, it was very noisy due to the pub downstairs, and the windows couldn’t be opened. The lockers didn’t work properly since they were made of metal and very small. The beds were shaking and felt like they could break at any moment. Showers and toilets were also quite dirty.

we booked a 6 bed room between 5 of us. was very spacious. clean bedding. room was quite hot. pub downstairs is really nice, staff are decent. would 100% stay again

bathrooms are a bit mangey

The location is the only good thing about this.

There are no lifts so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs and the beds are quite uncomfortable. Also sometimes the key cards don't open the room doors.

You get what you pay for central London very cheap. Not a great night's sleep but considering price you can't really complain
