    Pros +

    • Great location, very clean. Simple. Nothing fancy but rooms were clean and spacious. No lift, so you have to carry your bags up stairs.
    • Very close to Baker Street Tube Station, quiet hotel, room was clean. Good facilities including mini kitchen area. Bathroom and shower very clean!
    • The location was great, the staff were very friendly and the room was really big and very clean.

    Cons -

    • Just would not recommend in hot summer months. No A/C.
    • Not much given the great value for money and facilities. If there was anything it was the room I stayed in had no plug socket next to the bed, but a very minor issue.
    • Just a small thing, it was very windy the day I stayed and I was top floor and the bathroom window is a bit old so it banged in its frame a bit. Probably an easy fix.

    - Helpful staff- Excellent location, several points of interest nearby.- Good value for the money, large room and with the kitchenete, it's very convenient to be for a short stay.

    - While the room is quite large, we happen to stay in the top floor. If you're facing mobility issues, you'll be faced with a 5 story climb (No elevators). While this was no issue for me, I think that it would be better if this was highlighted in the website.

    Clean & tidy

Very noisy - fronts onto a main road and my room 23 had no effective mitigation. Needs heavy curtains etcAlso the electrics need sorting. I'm in the shower and lights and shower out . Total darkness and wet and cold.

As a local who is staying here for a night, I can tell you with confidence that this is one of the best locations in London. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very kind. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how large the room was and they upgraded me to a larger room for free because they had them available.

The only downside was that the TV was not connected to the Internet to hook up Netflix or whatever streaming service. That being said., I never asked the staff about it because I was only there for one night so they probably could’ve resolved it as there was great Wi-Fi.

Been there a few times during summer, very comfortable, during winter it gets a little cold. Besides that, everything is good :) and welcoming staff.

    The stairs lol

I stayed in the room with two double beds, myself and my mum. It was more like an apartment than a hotel room, spacious, mini kitchen facilities and full size fridge. All very clean. Beds and pillows very comfy and amazing sound proofing on windows.

The lock on the inside of the door was not functional. I usually feel more secure in a hotel if I can lock the door to my room from the inside. Everything else was amazing though!!

The room was super spacious. The staff were nice.

    The absence of elevators..

A very small room, but I knew that whilst booking. Not much storage space either, but for a single night it was fine. Very clean and bedding felt good quality and fresh. Not somewhere you'd stay for a weekend break or long stay, but for a one night stopover whist catching an early train the next morning, it was perfect.

Not really anything to complain about. It was expensive for what you get, but everywhere is in London.

Very clean, extremely polite and helpful staff. Great central location.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

    Location

The shower was difficult to use and no instruction. No telephone to reception to ask.

    7LeoPosted on: 2-5-2026

Great location. The room was cosy and the bed was comfy. And it was super clean. Staff were nice. The kitchenette area was handy.

The room was a bit tired. The shower holder was broken, the window was broken and repaired with plastic. And the noise fromOther rooms’ plumbing was surprisingly loud. Nothing major though.

Location was excellent, the property was good, and the room had everything I needed. It wasn’t luxury, but for this price I thought it was exceptional value and I would recommend to anyone staying in town for business or pleasure if they are budget minded.

My room was on the top 3rd floor and the stairs weren’t particularly wide (not a criticism, just comment on experience), and although there was a small kitchenette it could be accused of looking a fraction tried. But when measured against the outstanding value of the room, there’s certainly no complaint at all.
