How on earth does this property have an 8.1 rating???!!The sheets on the beds did not smell clean.Throw pillows that were washed when??The patterned duvet cover that didn’t seem clean or smell clean.The cramped room — far too small for 2 people never mind 3!Zero space for bags!The squeaking bathroom door — fix it!The smallest bathroom “sink” on the planet — impossible to wash face or hands or brush teeth without splashing all over the floor and toilet “beside”/partially below it.The staff not respecting my wishes when I asked them not to enter the room (to empty bins or make beds) while I was staying there.

Near Paddington station which have a lots of options for transportation and foods. Walk a little bit and you could also reach Waitrose on Edgeware Rd. for your general souvenir. 24-Hour reception desk which willing to help you bring your luggage to the room. There are room service everyday which is great for the price. Although my room didn't have any safe storage, I could leave something like tablet in the room without issue.

There is no luggage room. You could left them before check-in on the 1st floor along the staircase. The solo reception desk staff have clear view of who passed through your luggage. I didn't encounter any issue after leaving my luggage there. To be absolutely sure, just don't leave high value things in your luggage. Also, there are no lift which is typical for old building around here. A room is a bit small but adequate.

The overall management was good.

1. The stairs to room was quite steep;.so carrying luggage can be a bit strenuous.2. I had to fill out a form manually at the reception, although my booking information has everything necessary about me.

Super little find. Quiet, loads of great facilities for a great price. Safe and quiet and really helpful staff.

We got a lovely welcome upon arrival at the hotel. The bed was so comfortable and the location was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s was a little small but ok

Yeah but the receptionist is very disrespectful and rudeness towards me when he asked me to block my wife for entering my room. It is shockingly obvious that affected her and me upsetting

Yes it’s nice but unfortunately the only way of RECEIPIST misbehaviour is destruction of our happiness and enjoyment in hotel yesterday .

Very Friendly and helpful staff. Small, but very clean rooms. Excellent location.

The room and the ensuite bathroom were clean and comfortable, towels provided and also a fridge. Complimentary tea coffee and TV. Easy access to Paddington and connections (e.g. Heathrow). Staff were helpful with providing an invoice.

There is no elevator in the hotel so you must carry your luggage yourself up the stairs which can be quite difficult.

Friendly staff, clean modern fitted fresh budget room, but still with some Victorian history in a great London location. Quiet street, close to the Tube. Is a real find close to Paddington. Hotel buildings on the street still have external charm and welcoming.
