NothingThis hostel is an absolute mess. This is the worst place I have ever stayed at.

1- It is a very disorganised place. No specific bed is allocated to each guest. You can occupy and sleep on any bed ( as the hostel staff then ). This causes a lot of problems, where I found someone else sleeping in my bed. This happened twice to me.2- This place is not clean. The room I stayed at is very dirty and it stings with very bad odour.3- It is not a safe place, and you can easily get robbed. Lack of organisation caused a lot of confusion. Staff said that they had to change the codes for the main door and for each room door on a daily basis for security reasons, but sometimes they can give you the codes without checking whether or not you are staying with them. This resulted into some people not staying in their dedicated rooms , and they have stayed in other rooms. This is not a safe practice, which can lead to strangers or intruders getting into the rooms and stealing your belonging ( one of the guests told me that someone lost his iPhone in the hostel, which was stolen by someone else, and when he tracked it, it showed that it was still in the hostel, which means someone else got into the room and stole the iPhone and kept it with him in the hostel ).4- the storage room where you keep you luggage is like a black hole. You put your bags there and then a few days later they disappear under the ruins of other bags. I lost a gift in one of bags because luggage have been frequently moved and some stuff must have slipped out of my bag.Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I never recommend this place, and I would never go back again.

Screw needs thinging in the shower toilet sticking out that much i ripped my jumper on it

Nothing to be honest. The guys who checked me in was fine. But the old lady in the next morning couldn't have been more rude.

The bed height was too low. Bathroom not very clean and always wet. There's no floor mat to dry out the water. Location is not as good as it claims. Unless anyone is extremely stretched with money and just need a bed to sleep they can go for it.

The receptionist behaviour was very rude, he lied to me and put me out of the hostel after midnight while I got the confirmation email and went to visit the hostel. When I asked for an explanation, he reacted by saying that he will explain nothing. This receptionist should be sacked from the hostel!

I stayed only one night, but it was unbearable.I entered the room around 11:00 PM and had to leave at 5:00 AM because I could not stay any longer.The hygiene conditions were extremely poor. After sleeping there, I experienced severe itching all over my body and developed red skin rashes.However, I would like to mention one positive point: the receptionist, a Polish gentleman, was very polite, respectful, and kind. He was the only positive aspect of my stay

I don't know if the booking.com or the hostel made mistake. I booked one bed to sleep with my last money and when I went to check in told me there is no bed. I continuously stayed for some little days and the previous guy at reception never gave me problem. This guy told me that I booked in female room..... this is unbelievable!!!!!!!!!! I booked last days and never I had problem. These people, the booking.com or the hostel makes me to sleep on the road today. Completely ridiculous!!!!!!!!!! Rubbish completely!!!!!!!!!!! Booking.com or the phoenix hostel. The worst is don't give me immediately my money!!!!!!!!

Location was good and the staff let me book and check in at 4am on the day

Didn't get the room I booked for (6-person mixed) and got a 15-person male only room. The room smelled horrible and the ventilation was insufficient. I also git bit by bugs

They don't change bedsheets just same for everybody i got one which have blood on it. Get allergy after my stay

The place was easy to find and very close to everything. The dormitory looked a bit like a prison cell but can't expect more for the price.

The staff were very friendly, kind and accommodating. They let me book at very short notice, and I was so appreciative of their speed and willingness to arrange my bed and put my mind at ease. I had a very pleasant, comfortable stay. I will definitely come again - thank you!

Perfect location.The day staff were polite and useful.

Didn't like the attitude of the night manager,as returning from a night out asked for a drink of which he told me to either go outside or go to bed so felt like a child, wasn't able to stay in the bar area to change phone as nothing available in the dorm, couldn't even boil a kettle for a pot noodle so went to bed hungry.The toilet was on a different level so had to get out of bed from a high bunk bed barefoot on painful metal ladders in the dark as no bed lamp (very dangerous) .The dorm entrance needs a door damper as some ignorant people love banging doors.Advertised as a Hostel but more like a Hospital and one for mental health issues but you get what you pay for of £11 and that's exactly what it felt like.Neefs a complete refurbished as sticky carpets.Check out as usual for Hostels of 10am but couldn't wait to get out at 7am.Ive been to 17 hostels this year of only 2 I wouldn't return or recommend and this one of them.Not a pleasent stay.

The bed where I slept was relatively comfortable. I liked that the other hosts kept the windows open, so the room was kept ventilated. The other hosts with whom I shared the room were silent and respectful, which made my stay calm in general.

The first member of the staff that I met, during check in, was not friendly. He looked like someone that didn't want to talk at all, even though I needed basic information about the rules, how everything worked etc. I had to do my check in late in the night, but still his behaviour created a very unwelcoming first impression. Other members of the staff were much more kind and willing to help.The first bed that I was assigned was awful, just beside a heater, under another bed, with very little space. Very much like sleeping inside an oven. Fortunately I didn't have to sleep in that bed and they quickly assigned me another bed, but I think this first one shouldn't be considered an available bed in general. Cleanliness could improve in general, as well as the comfort of the common area.

the building was old and dark, the bed was wet due to window nearby; i changed it and then to other bed. the space between dorm beds was too less, you cant even sit properly.

the reception was poor; not as shown in pictures, creepy and old. the guy at reception was not good in dealing as well.
