    Pros +

    • The location was close to Paddington station and the park
    • Location. It was easy to go to a bus stop to reach Victoria´s Station to go to Gatwick airport. There are also some stores around to get necessity products.
    • This hotel is very close to the Paddington train station. There are multiple small grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The Heathrow Express comes straight in from Heathrow to Paddington. Great breakfast. Ther is small park right in front of the hotel.

    Cons -

    • This place sucked! The hot water didn't work. The bathroom smells like sewage. The noise levels all night made it hard to sleep
    • Don?t book this place. There?s a train running by it. They placed us in the basement of the hotel, where the train will run every 2 minutes and make the entire place shake. Not worth it
    • The room had no heating on, had to request at front desk to turn one, they did but then at some point at night they turn it off again. The room was quite cold.

This hotel is very close to the Paddington train station. There are multiple small grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The Heathrow Express comes straight in from Heathrow to Paddington. Great breakfast. Ther is small park right in front of the hotel.

No soap bar or shampoo. There is hand soap. Very hot. Ask for a fan before they run out. Stairs are very steep and narrow. Very difficult to carry luggage or our stroller in and out each day. If you are good with stairs and hot, it is very convenient

Great location. Really close to restaurants, subway and shops. Really beautiful area.Room was fine and staff was friendly.

Not too much to pick from at breakfast. Other than that ok.

The hotel is in a great location, two minutes walk from Paddington Tube and train stations. There are numerous shops, restaurants and pubs nearby. It was also a good price for central London. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The receptionist was behind a high perspex shield which wasn't very welcoming. The room itself was small and dark with quite a narrow single bed. A lick of white paint, to cover up the brown boarding, would freshen it up. The ensuite toilet and shower room were very small and a larger person would struggle to use the toilet and shower properly. Also, there was nothing to hang the towels on. You'll also hear the Tube trains running nearby.

The staff were very friendly. The location is excellent for the price.

A lot of the furnishings have seen better days. The headboard was very scuffed and had some of the stuffing sticking through. It was quite dusty in the room. The choice for breakfast was very limited - I travel a lot and I've never come across a continental breakfast with no pastries. It was very meat heavy.

Location was great, staff were excellent and free bag store was a bonus. There is no lift in this hotel and we were on the top floor, a lot of stairs with a child and luggage. The fridge in our room was very noisy and the carpet in the stair ways was very worn and discoloured.

Great central location and a very clean bathroom.

The building shakes from passing trains, so earplugs are recommended. The Main Issue: We need to start holding hotels accountable for "zero-flexibility" policies. I made an honest mistake on my booking and flagged it immediately—three weeks before the date—but was met with a "it's not our issue" attitude. I don't care what the fine print says; an innocent mistake caught instantly should be fixable. If a hotel refuses to help, they don't deserve a high rating.

It was affordable, clean, convenient and friendly. I Would highly recommend.

Wasn't overly keen on the manual shower took a while to get the temperature at a comfortable level.

Convenient location for Paddington Station.I requested a ground floor room to avoid carrying heavy luggage, and this request was granted.

Train noise, which I'd expected from other reviews, was not too troublesome.

Location was perfect. Rom was small but it had all the facilities. The matress was harder than I am used to but it didn't stop me having a good night's sleep.

The balcony was lovely, nice to have air conditioning, spa tub was nice, but we did not see instructions for use. Close to Paddington Station, restaurants and Kensington Park for lovely walks in the morning.

The room was very small, difficult for 2 people to move about.

Location is superb, near the Underground and near Heathrow.

Room was damp and cold, asked for heater none available. To be cold is totally unacceptable. I can't recommend this hotel with competition being so fierce. Furniture in room, very basic. Fairly clean. Breakfast very limited. Staff not that friendly.

So convenient and a great price for a night between a late train in to London and early departure from Paddington. Great value for a decent part of town! The room had everything I needed and nice to have ensuite shower/toilet for that price. And a quick cup of tea while getting up for an early train! For the price, it would be a bad place for a few days solo traveller in London!

The staff was really nice and helpful.Tye room was clean.

The room was very cold the first night.the noise from the underground nearby was very loud.

My room needs a little update But very clean

    8DavidPosted on: 1-7-2026

Friendly staff. Great location for Paddington and an early flight out of Heathrow.

The climb up the narrow stairs is difficult with a case ( and I'm slim and strong!!! ). Leave your case with reception, take just what you need to your room.
