Smart Hyde Park View

Nothing, the whole experience was horrible from the moment I walked through the door.

Customer service was atrocious from checking in to checking out. Room was cramped and smelt. I would rather have gone and slept in Hyde Park. It would have been more comfortable.

EXCELLENT location, fair price and very cute ambiance

The hostel is located in a very good area, just a block away from Hyde Park and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Circus. The hostel is very clean in general, with a lounge where you can bring your food, work, or just pass the time. The rooms were clean but very small.

The lockers in the room don't work with any lock; you need the one they sell (which is bigger) to work. You won't be able to lock your locker. The majority of the staff are kind, but there are always some of them who are not helpful or grumpy, especially the breakfast and cleaning ladies; they were only talking Russian very loudly all the time and were always rude (at least to me).

Staff are amazing, facilities are clean, beds are comfy, location is unbeatable. Couldn't have found a better spot!

The staff were super nice, fun to talk to, helpful, and I wanted to bring them back home with me!

Worst smelling room I’ve ever experienced in my 10 years of staying in hostels.Three tier bunk bed so getting on/off the top one not most convenient.

The staff was very polite

There are no locks on the cabinets, but a padlock can be attached to the cabinet. The hotel should have given us the padlock or should have informed us about it in advance.

The placing of the locagion is very nice with the hyde park so close for morning walks and the staff was very kind. We even got a instant photo that is on the entrance wall.

There was nothing that we didn't like. For sure we will come back

Great location. Staff was kind and helpful. Beds were comfortable. All in all great hotel for the value!

I stayed in a 4-bed bedroom with private bathroom. The bathroom was well-equipped and clean, and the beds were OK for the price paid.

The staff wasn’t very friendly and not helpful at all.

Breakfast was good and location I liked most. rooms are bit cozy and corridor was also so small. overall space is not good. rest everything was okay.

They have paper walls, you can hear everything from other rooms. Cold water in the shower. No view from the window because there’s a block of concrete outside. Bad lighting in the room.

They have a hair dryer that works well and kitchen and bathroom were clean

Because the bunk bed was three stories and the ceiling was low, often hit my head

This is the 8th time we’ve stayed here. The location and staff are great!

There was no flexibility for early check in or late check out. I understand there are sometimes circumstances out of their control but it would be been nice to have an earlier check in since we’ve stayed so many times at this one location.

The staff are humble, helpful, friendly.

The room with ensuite bathroom was clean and comfy. Checking in and out was fast and smooth. Very central. Could be perfect not only for a sleepover but for a longer stay as well.

The only thing that was a bit annoying is the amount of communication I was receiving both via the app any by email. I suggest reducing the number of messages they send to guests.

I stayed in the mixed dorm room at this hostel for 3 nights and overall, I was satisfied with my experience. The room was basic but clean, and the beds were comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The atmosphere was friendly, and I met some interesting travelers during my stay. The common areas were well-maintained, and the facilities such as lockers and bathrooms were convenient and functional. The location was central, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were approachable and helpful whenever I had questions. For the price, this hostel offered good value. I would recommend it to solo travelers or anyone looking for budget accommodation with a social vibe.

Great accommodation, but there's a short, bearded guy who works at the front desk in the morning who was very rude when I asked for help. The next day, he was intolerant and intimidating in front of other people, embarrassing me. It was horrible! Aside from him, everyone treated me very well. I didn't do anything and I don't know why he was so rude to me. Thank you.

The room and the kitchen is clean. It's nice to have a bathroom to share to only 6 people in the room. The locker is big, enough to put a backpack and a carry on. There is a curtain for privacy.

We need to open the window to cool off the heat of summer. That means there are lot of noises when we sleep.
