Hyde & Seek, London Hyde Park, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Location

The tub/shower in our bathroom had an obstructive soffit preventing full access. Hotel staff refused to offer any accommodation.

Location is great; right by the lovely Swan pub and Lancaster Gate tube and opposite Kensington Gardens

The shower had no hot water, which eventually got fixed quite promptly, but the shower had what seemed to be a large duct running though it, which made it a gymnastic feat to take a shower, particularly for my partner, who is six feet tall.

Great location, good breakfast and excellent price.

Friendly helpful staff. Lots of choice for breakfast and a clean comfortable room.We were visiting Notting Hill Carnival so the location was perfect. Also easy access to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park which was ideal as the weather was lovely.Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is in an ideal location beside Hyde Park and within walking distance to areas of interest and public transport (tube service).

The room was very small with little circulation space, particularly around the bed which was also relatively small, but comfortable.The breakfast selection was very limited compared to offerings in hotels we have stayed in previously.

Top notch location!! We absolutely loved Paddington and we rate this the best location we’ve experienced /stayed in London (after many travel experiences here and also living in London abroad) due to the close proximity and ease of access to central London but more so the outstanding quality of restaurants, cafes and pubs with excellent food and drinks. The bonus was for us to enjoy Hyde Park, enjoy quality food and also be close to Notting Hill. The hotel was what we expected - fairly clean, comfortable and great price especially for the area. We would definitely stay again!

Reception staff are exeptional, rooms are decent size

Air conditioning units outside a single glazed windows- a big no due to a constant humming noise.

Its location

They ask for a cleaning deposit that was supposed to be refunded after. We left the room in perfect condition and I have not yet gotten my refund. They are crooked

Excellent breakfast and upgraded room was also excellent. Staff were quick to rectify problems. Only 5 minutes to the tube station (central line) and bus stop basically right outside the hotel.

Rooms were very small and cramped. Did request a disabled access bathroom in the booking.com requests which was received by the hotel. Upon arrival we found out they had no disabled access rooms which I wish they had warned us about before. The Aircon was terrible in both rooms, particularly in one, so we had to ask the front desk for a move for that room after a visit from the maintenance team. They immediately found an alternative room and we were lucky that it was an upgrade, and that room was excellent. Would not recommend the standard rooms in the middle of summer.

The shower and sink only provided cold water during our stay. The hotel did not offer any compensation.

Everything was great. The staff were all friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. We picked this hotel as it was ideally located for our needs and Booking.com were offering it at 50%, so it was a complete no-brainer!

I have no complaints about my stay.Everything was as expected.I can't think of anything I would have changed, especially for the price we paid.

Hotel was ideally situated in distance to all the attractions, with great access to underground. Hotel staff were extremely polite, friendly and very helpful. Room was standard (which I booked knowingly) nice and comfortable and clean, shower room and shower power was fantastic.Air con worked which was fabulous as quite a muggy weekend with the weather. Looked like it all was recently refreshed. Breakfast was fantastic, lots to choose from, including fruit bowels with cream yummy, felt totally safe as a solo traveller definitely stay there again.

Nothing really, forgot how noisy London streets where, but soon nodded off

I like its location next to Hyde Park and Lancaster Gate Tube and it’s a very beautiful building.

The room was very small, breakfast was average for the price. There’s better value and choice at a Premier Inn.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was excellent.

The previous occupants of the room had left some chewed gum on the shelf next to the bed. This had note been cleaned/removed by the cleaning staff. It was still pliable so could not have been there very long.
