We arrived at 20.00 hrs couldn't go to our room apparently not ready

The location was perfect

Room was noisy, with air conditioning or something outside constantly humming. I like to have a window open, but it was too noisy to do so. The shower didn't work.Was either scalding hot or freezing cold. It was impossible to set it to a usable temperature. Some of the staff were not overly friendly., especially the guy in the luggage store.No good morning or pleasantries.

The hotel was modern and clean. Spacious in all areas, well looked after and well presented. Triplet glazing was great to cut out outside noise. Friendly staff and was surprised to be told we was guest for the day and had been given complimentary breakfast and late check out. Breakfast was fab, great choice and delicious.

There was nothing to dislike. We was happy customers.

Good location

Could barely sleep for the three nights i was there as the air vent outside was so loud , honestly for the price not worth it

Professionalism of the staff. Clean room. Very soft linens. Close to Russell Square metro station. 20 minutes walk to King's cross.

Nothing to say.

The location of the hotel was truly excellent, only a 5-minute walk to the metro. There are also many cafes and restaurants nearby. Beyond the location, the interior of the hotel, the size and spaciousness of the rooms, and the bathrooms were much better than they should be—honestly, far beyond my expectations. I realized I picked a much better hotel than I imagined. Everything was perfect!

Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent food. Well stocked shop. Nothing was too much trouble.

Would have preferred a bigger selection of fruit and yoghurt at breakfast.

Location good

Room 279 was cold Windows didn't close properly and there was an air conditioning fan on all night Rang reception at 10 pm a few times they never picked When checking out said this and was told it was not the first time to hear that.. still obviously it's an issue that has not been dealt withHousekeeping never changed or replaced dirty glasses and cups At breakfast for condiments there were no little bowls or cups to put jam honey you had to take your large plates up and pump down on it...

The location is very central. The room and the bathroom were spacious. Clean bedding and towels. Daily service with refill of tea bags etc.

There was hardly any pressure on the water in the shower. The room was quite cold despite the radiators on full. The room was very noisy every morning and evening until late. The noise came from above, probably a storage room, and it sounded like chairs being dragged over a hard floor, and this went on for hours. The first night, sunday evening, we were told that the noise was due to the Fawlty Towers show, i.e. only on sunday eve and only until 21.30 to 22.00. At 22.20 it was still extremely noisy and the same noises appeared every morning and evening for the 3 days we were there. Apparently we were not the only room having complained.

Perfect location for us, all staff encountered were so lovely and helpful, it really made a difference and I’d choose to stay here again next time we come to London

Every member of staff I spoke to was absolutely lovely, nothing was too much. Very clean and comfortable room, big plus having a flat screen with streaming services my two sons were very happy. Delicious breakfast, good variety and vegan options available on request too. Location was great too, nice and quiet but not too far out the way. Would definitely return!

Far exceeded all expectations for the price, with breakfast included. Lovely, clean room, overlooking the park, very quiet. Pleasant and helpful staff. Decorated our room with red balloons and petals on the bed, on arrival for Valentine's. Fresh breakfast everyday (nothing dried up like other hotels) will definitely book again and recommend!

A fridge in the room would be useful

I’ve stayed on numerous occasions and this is now my go to hotel. Reception is fab the bar staff are amazing. We love their hospitality

The time before last we had a roomNear the cleaning cupboard. A lot of banging so this time the staff didn’t allocate us a roomNear there. However. This time aCleaner kept knocking on our door at 9am. 9.30am. Which disturbed our time together. And again at 11am. Basically leave the room. Which we were aware and ready but it seemed ridiculous as we’d been disturbed twice earlier before this. We even had do not disturb on our door. It hadn’t put me off but my partner a city professional was not happy.

The hotel is really close to the metro and several bus stations. So the location was perfect. The staff was really friendly and nice.

The bed and the lights were not so good in the hotel room. Good that we did not spend that much time in the hotel.
