Staff, location, cleanliness all wonderful
Price of drinks at rooftop bar. £37 for a g&T and a aperol spritz
Location
Rooms are small and ac goes off at night
I thought the location was great and lots to do, rooftop was great when available, some nice staff members
The rooms are quite small which is fairly typical however there was extremely limited storage space, poor lighting, and cleaning wasn’t as thorough as I would have liked of the room. The main issue we had was with the rooftop bar. The roof was booked for events for two days out of our stay and we were unable to use it, and on our last day we were told they could not accommodate us although it was a public event and we were paying hotel guests/there was plenty of space in the bar itself. I feel the roof is the main attraction of this hotel and if not able to utilize would have made me select a different hotel. I found their handling of that situation quite poor.
Breakfast was PHENOMENOL!Location was good for us.Liked the elevator program to specific floor
Room was just so -so small. We were constantly trying to walk past each other. No place to sit comfortably.Have never been in a hotel room that did not have a chair.Have never been in a hotel room that did not have a writing surface, or a place to use a laptop computer.
The location was exceptional! Front staff were excellent.
The man at the rooftop deck was indifferent to us. We didn’t go back to even try to get in for drink as if left us with a negative feeling.
Staff were helpful, excellent location.
Rooms too small. Noisy during the weekend.
Great location, 5 minutes away from Covent GardenSpacious room with a wide, comfortable bedWill definitely stay here again !
The area was great, the staff was extremely friendly and gave us good recommendations. We were able to check in early as well which was a plus. The restaurants in the hotel were great too just to stop in a grab drinks. Would stay here and recommend to people as well.
I was disappointed with the same breakfast menu for my entire stayed. I also need the receipt from the dinner on the 13th , it was charged to my room # 424, and it was so pricey. If you can send me the receipt I would be very happy.
I like the location .
location was why I chose it and for a theater goer it was excellent.
lack of an in house restaurant meant you had to go out to eat every evening. I was told it had closed for New Years so that may not be the norm
good location, comfortable bed, quiet room, and I slept well.
The value for the money was very disappointing. I arrived at the hotel after a long day of travel and was told, quite rudely, to check in using an iPad. The iPad did not work, so I had to find a staff member to check me in anyway. The entire process felt unnecessary and frustrating.I had booked a standard room, not the smallest option and not an upgraded room, but I was given a key to a room without a proper bathroom. The shower was next to the bed and the sink was across the room, with no enclosed bathroom space. I have never seen anything like it. When I went back downstairs to request a room with a bathroom, the staff member responded dismissively, saying that “some people like the modern style room” and that no other rooms were available. After some pleading, they eventually “found” another room, but this one did not have a desk, which was a problem as I was traveling for work. I had to choose between having a desk or having a bathroom, and I chose the bathroom.Throughout my stay, the elevators were frequently out of service. I also kept receiving automated emails about checking out via a tablet, even though the tablet did not work and I was not trying to check out yet. This added to the sense that the hotel’s systems were not functioning properly. The staff overall seemed very inexperienced. When I asked questions, I was often met with “I don’t know” or a flat “no,” followed by the staff member walking away. There was no effort to help or improve the guest experience. At one point, when I mentioned that the hotel appeared nice and that I had paid a high rate, I was told, “It’s not actually a nice hotel. It’s just Christmas, so the prices are higher.” This was in early December and the comment felt unprofessional.Another issue was the shower amenities. The refillable shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty when I arrived. Unfortunately, I only noticed once I was already in the shower and had to get out and wait for housekeeping.
Location was amazing!
Room was very small and lobby was even smaller!
- Location.- bar staff and some room cleaners were really good people.
- The room was full of dust.- There was no cupboard.- You cannot move in the room. - you almost walk sideways to get to somewhere. - you can’t open your suitcase on the floor you have to do it on bed. It was a bad experience for us to stay in that room and have these problems for 7 days. I’ve paid £1650 to have comfortable and clean room to have a rest in mid day but I couldn’t. Not worth the money.
Location, quiet and clean
Pillows, not enough coffee bags and not enough places to hang towels, etc
The area was central, within walking distance from Covent Garden and close to Holborn tube. The actual hotel itself was lovely, and the corridors had a lovely fresh smell.
Our room was tiny, we only had a walk-in shower and there was nowhere to hang your clothes whilst in the shower, (it's ok if you are with family, but I was with my friend and had to undress in the shower cubicle). My towel got wet from the shower as the hanging towel rail was in close proximity. There was no bathroom to get changed or nowhere to put your toiletries and makeup! I expected more for £428.00 for 2 nights.
Location
Everything was so small. There was any room to move. No desk. No closet. Just 5 hangers above the coffee maker. Super expensive for what was offered. If you needed to work No desk in the lobby either. The list hoes on. We called the place "bare minimum, "
The hotel is located right near Covent garden and is very convenient to get to.The staff were accommodating and nice, and the checkin and out were very easy. The hotel has a rooftop bar that is very pretty. Unfortunately we weren't able to go to the hotel restaurant as it was closed due to private events.
The room was very small, and I normally have no issues with this.I stayed at this hotel before, but at a different room, and this time the room was just not organized well, and we had no place for our stuff, unlike the last time (no dedicated place for suitcases, no place in the shower for our own toiletries, etc. )
