- I chose the hotel for the location as it was just a one night stay. Just 5 minutes walk from Euston station and a couple of minutes longer from St Pancras and Kings Cross. When choosing a hotel in this price range, I did not have huge expectations. But corridor on entering was clean and well lit. Room was clean and adequate for one night. Heating was good. There was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.Had a query prior to arrival and the response was very quick and detailed.A selection of cafés, restaurants and convenience shops in the immediate area.
- Fantastic location 4 minutes walk to Russell Square tube station, very clean and spacious accommodation, highly recommend.
- Good location and easy to go to from Kings Cross station
Cons -
- Stairs leading to rooms are wooden, a bit uneven and quite narrow. As I only had a backpack it was no problem, but could be difficult with larger suitcases.A mirror in bedroom for doing hair would be useful.Shower started hot and acceptable, but became a trickle after a couple of minutes. I assume poor pressure when others rooms also using shower.
- Smaller than expected, low airflow which made room feel a bit overheated (despite window being open). Instructions could also be a bit clearer and nicer presented, a person at reception at better hours to ask questions would also be ideal
- Out of date deco. Old furniture needs new beds and bedding including pillows.

Good location
Out of date deco. Old furniture needs new beds and bedding including pillows.
Comfortable, good shower, warm, not noisy. Clear explanation of access, though would add that key safes are behind the open door, which needs partial closure to access them.
Would have preferred more milk and tea bags. Although a selection of drink options, 4 pots milk limited it to drinks each. Narrow stairs with no secondary fire exit obvious.
Great location and very good price.Staff helpful and room clean
It’s quite basic, but then you have to remember the ow price
Location, the actual bed
Dirty bathroom cupboard, the heat ,the sliding door which needs oil
The location was great, close to Russell Square station and Kings Cross station. Bed was okay, the pillows are too soft for my liking but since I was alone I was able to stack them which worked out.The room looks bigger on the photo’s
The walls seemed very thin which lead to lots of noise. If the people in the room next to you talk at a normal volume you can hear everything which sadly kept me awake. Also the noise from outside was quite loud. While I was showering the shower turned icy cold out of nowhere, I had to rinse my conditioner with cold water which I did not like.
Perfect between St-Pancras & Russel Square; very nice welcome by the host of the hotel. No luxury, but more then enough for us!
It was a Little cold in the room.
the addition of the fridge was a great help 10mins walk from st pancras]helpful staff
The stairs were hard to negotiate very narrow stairs unfortunately were were on the top floor.
Location was good, and the restaurant next door was delicious.
Ground floor room was horrendous as it appears we had the cast of stomp in the room above, the bed was so small for a double that we practically had to take turns trying to sleep although at 2am of writing this review I fear my turn is not coming. There was a constant hum of a generator or something outside along with a random flashing sign blaring through the window. The shower was as much use as a chocolate teapot. There was only the bottom cushion for the sofa bed no back board so couldn't use the sofa bed function. No staff after 5pm to explain that the bedside lamp didn't work and to top it off the door to the room stuck open when used having only one arm made it difficult to close.
Staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival, however this was unfortunately quickly overshadowed by what followed
When we arrived at 2pm for check-in were told that there was a large crack in the bedroom window. There was no offer to change the room, no offer to refund so we can find alternate accommodation, just told that there was a crack in the window from the guests the night before and gave us the key and expected us to just deal with it. We went up and were met with even more disappointment as these rooms do NOT look like the advertised photographs and had a STRONG smell of mould/damp. There was even a plastic cover on the drain with a note saying to lift up when using the shower but re-cover after to avoid the smell. Why not just fix the root of the problem? Honestly place just seemed like it was falling apart and now what you’d expect for the price that they charge. After contacting booking.com we were able to cancel our booking and arrange alternative accommodation which was much nicer. I’ll also note though that the staff friendliness I mentioned previously quickly disappeared when we were leaving due to our complaint to booking.com! I really would not recommend this place it’s unprofessional and does not meet expectations from their advertisements.
Location was great and surprisingly quiet. Rooms were basic and a bit dated.
The shower ran freezing cold in the morning so was unable to wash properly. There’s no one on reception to deal with issues like this. It’s a good job we were only staying one night.
Location is great, especially if you are on an early Eurostar train as we were
Staff were helpful, but not around to talk to in person. But very helpful with letting us leave luggage etc.
Great locationComfortable bedsGreat having a fridge
Very noisy
Near kings cross for early train. V handy. Check in was easy. Comfy bed.
Shower barely worked. Not the cleanest bathroom. Could hear the neighbours through bathroom....
I like the property because it is near the train station
I had an accident. I spoke to the manager, but they never come back to me..
Room was big clean and cosy
It is conveniently located. The room was adequate and clean.
No lift, my room was on the third floor and the stairs were narrow and quite steep.I had no instructions to get in, the reception os not manned after 5 pm. My table lamp was not working but when i mentioned it the staff fixed it for the second day.
Short walk to St Pancras
Single glazing, so an AWFUL lot of noise (even with earplugs in!)The bed in our "deluxe" room was smallOverall cleanliness OK at first glance, but one of the teacups had dirty stains on it; bathroom cupboard doors weren't clean either.
