- Location
- The stay would’ve been nice, we initially booked Buckle Street and also did online check in beforehand to ensure we get our room. When we got to the reception the staff told us they had no rooms and could not find us on the list, then 5 minutes later told us he found us but had to move us to a different building across, when I asked what happened to the initial room promised for us he said “Just go across and they’ll sort it out” and walked away.
- It was originally designed very nicely. It did include a full working kitchen and bathroom.
Cons -
- Cleanliness was bad. The leftover from last residence was left there. And restroom was clogged. I complained to the front desk but was told they do not have any other room available. I changed hotel right away. Prepaid amount was not returned.
- Did not get the micro studio nor the actual building I had booked, we needed up getting an accessible studio rather than the studio I had paid for.
- Small - very tight room. Needs some TLC it was Dirty - not cleaning the room every day had lead to mold and hardwater buildup in the bathroom. The kitchen had food splattered up the backsplash. Barely any light in the bathroom and half my light bulbs were burnt out. The air conditioning made the most annoying clicking noise all night and the windows dont open. So it smells stale. Last is that they closed their yoga room so you now have to work out in a basement gym with no windows.

Loved it, personally, but we got the 18m" room and it is simply too small for two people since we had three suitcases. We will stay again but book a bigger room. Staff was really nice and everything was clean.
Room size. A bit unsure if we needed to clean after, but okay? Everything else was great.
Clean, good location and quiet
Could’ve done with an espresso machine or something else just to go up to 10/10
Location
The lighting in the room was terrible; it was guesswork getting ready in the morning. The mugs in the room were dirty. The room was dusty. On entering the hotel I received a particularly questionable welcome from the reception, to then be told that the check in system was down. I had breakfast in the hotel, pleasant staff but mediocre scrambled eggs at best and the worst croissant I think I have had, possibly ever.
Closeness to the subway, really good breakfast, nice attentive staff
Small spaces (cca 30cm between bed and window), stains on the wall and on the couch, weird smell in the room, issues with the drain
Nice modern design, good facilities with kitchen, central location but tucked away feels quite residential which I like. Great for a work trip feels more like living in an apartment rather than a hotel
Although the overall design is nice the rooms could benefit from a bit of TLC - walls / fixtures and fittings falling off etc.
Great location, comfortable bed and clean bathroom
The walls were very damaged and would benefit from filling and painting
The advanced check-in process made things really easy on arrival. All you needed to do was collect your key and head up to the room. Rooms have a contemporary, stylish finish. Studio rooms are on the cosier side for sure but include everything you need. I slept very well and the hotel is positioned on a side street so it's away from the bustling traffic and roads but in very easy access to Aldgate East tube. There's a nice communal lounge area on the ground floor. The staff were absolutely lovely, super warm and friendly.
A lot of small details could be improved such as cleanliness. I did notice a fair bit of hair both in the bathroom and room itself, and a number of areas where dust wasn't cleaned thoroughly. One of the cupboard doors in the kitchen didn't close, one part of the flush on the toilet was broken. It feels like the rooms have had a bit of wear and tear since it opened and could do with some TLC. This just lets the overall impression down considering it's pricing.
The decor over all was modern, comfortable and inviting. The location is great and as you ate so high up there is no noise from the road.
The room needed cleaning under the bed, behind the sofa and behind the TV. The room could have been arranged in a manor the would have allowed more space to move around the bed because it needed to be stepped on to get to the sofa.
The bathroom was large and thoughtfully designed. It featured a rain shower, a wall-mounted shower seat, and push bars on both sides. The glass shower screen helped to keep the bathroom relatively dry. The toilet had a backrest and wall-mounted grab bars. A nice extra touch was the heated towel rail, which kept towels warm and helped them dry quickly. Our room was large and well equipped, including a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven/microwave combination, and sufficient cookware, cutlery and tableware for two people. There was also a spacious wardrobe and plenty of storage space.
A few points that could be improved: upon arrival, the trash bin was still full, which was not a great first impression. The sink was unfortunately not wheelchair accessible due to a metal support underneath, making it somewhat inconvenient to use. The lighting in the room, even on maximum dimmer setting, was rather moderate. There was no bedside lamp that could easily be switched off from a wheelchair, so we moved a standing lamp to make it more practical. The bed is quite low, which may make transfers more challenging depending on your abilities. Black tiles and fittings in the bathroom showed quite a lot of limescale, which isn’t ideal and also not the easiest design choice for maintenance.
We liked the location, 24/7 reception, the rooms are modern, new and clean. Ms. Katerina at the reception is always very welcoming and helpful!
Didn’t look anything like the cost room I expected, was stains all on the sides. Really wouldn’t recommend.
The whole booking, didn’t feel welcomed, I didn’t like the room or the accommodation
Lovely studio with a small kitchen, very cosy. Superfriendly staff, 0 complaints.
Location was good for my next day in London
The room was small and definitely not a studio. The room also had a smell which wasn`t pleasant.
Very clean, modern and cozy. I've often stayed here and will be happy to return.
Central location
Small. Claustrophobic room. Stayed here before and rooms were small but not like this one. Light flickered. ten light switches in total so I couldn’t figure out how to turn off all the lights as when I went to switch one off it turned one on at the other side of the room. I’m such a small space it seemed a bit overkill.
I have a background in hospitality and I was genuinely impressed. The design is exceptionally well thought out, high-quality and modern while still feeling warm and comfortable. Everything was immaculate, functional and beautifully curated. I felt completely at ease from the moment I arrived.
Nothing at all. The stay exceeded my expectations in every way.
Clean apartment
The mattress did not fit the bed! Large gap. Also booking was clearly for two people yet only towels for one.
