Ibis London City - Shoreditch

Overall a good experience. Great family trip! I loved the breakfast!

The room is really small.

Well situated - tastefully decorated - comfortable.

The queue for breakfast was quite long, however it’s one of the largest ibis styles I’ve stayed in. Breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice for every one.

The room was way to hot and no air con , and being in central London to noisy with the window open, it did say fans were available but when we went to ask for one the lady at reception said she didn't know anything about them and would ask a colleague and bring one to the room, but she never came back to us

Breakfast was good. Room was a good size and clean.

The staff were slightly difficult to communicate with as just didn't really answer my questions or speak to me. Sort of just shrugged or nodded.

Shower didn't drain very well and even after reporting it, it was still an issue

The bathroom is quite basic, feels like a container bathroom. Breakfast could be a little bit more diverse, sunny-side ups eggs, french lady etc, after the 3rd day it became a little bit boring.

Very good location, the public transport literally in front of the hotel, underground around the corner. Many good bars and restaurants (Asian, Indian) nearby. Buffet breakfast available. Good value for money. We were lucky to get even a life music concert in the bar on Friday evening . But what we liked most was the SUPER FRIENDLY PERSONEL.

It would be great if the hotel could provide the plug adaptors for the sockets. It is possible to charge via usb but it doesn't work with everything. The doors from the bathroom were very difficult to close, at least to close quietly.

We have been in this hotel last year for our first trip in London. Our experience was so good that we had to book it again this year! The hotel is located next to both the underground and bus stops, and all main London's attractions can easily be reached in a very short time. The staff was kind and helpful (we were traveling with friends this time and booked three different rooms. The stuff was so kind to assign our rooms next to each other even without asking them!) Breakfast is their true masterpiece! It's rich and varied with genuine flavors and a very wide choice, including vegan and vegetarian.

Although we arrived at the hotel on time for check-in,, we had to wait for an hour for the room to be cleaned. Bathroom smelled very bad. The quality of the breakfast could have been better.

The location was good .The check in was good with pleasant staff and there was a comfortable area to sit while waiting for check in

The room was a good size . However it did have comfort and cleanliness issues.

It was very close to the metro station, we loved that! There is also a supermarket right next to the hotel, so that was convenient as well. Everything was clean and we even had an iron in the room

Everything was good, but I’d say the lights in the rooms are too weak and warm; maybe some strong source of light will help - other than that, nothing to complain about.
