Pros +
- The location, breakfast, en suite bathroom and housekeeping
- Charming hotel and room with eclectic dÃÂécor. Great breakfast choices. Great staff. Great location to visit British Museum.
- I often stay at this hotel, great location and friendly, welcoming staff
Cons -
- No lift to get heavy baggage to the top floor, certain things in my room were broken like the switch for the ceiling fan amongst others. I¿m was expecting a desk in my room and there wasn¿t one
- 1 block away from a very active and loud pub. The pub is so loud that if window is open (needed as no air conditioner in room), one cannot hear TV over the pub yells, cheers, and singing. Strong smell of juniper (cat pee aroma) especially in bathroom.

The breakfast, particularly the fruit, was very nice for a continental breakfast. The coffee was also good. Inside was quiet.
The room was ridiculously small and impossible for two people. Outside was noisy
Ambience, furnishings, breakfast (extra at 17.50
Checkin misinformation on breakfast times. Also didn't pee book breakfast. Lacklustre attitude from staff plus communication issues. Sad really because the place deserves better.
Location is great, close to St Pancras (20 min walk), underground stations at 10 minutes and just 25 minute walk to Leicester Square. The hotel is cosy and nicely decorated for Christmas. Staff is nice.
The room is rather small (but that can be seen on the pictures and read in the reviews). However, the beds are small for 2 persons and hard, the sheets very thin (especially in winter times, we were cold at night but when we asked for an extra blanket we were told there are none and that we can turn up the heat instead). Light above the bed didn’t work, they didn’t bother to fix it, reaction simply was “oh, yes, that one doesn’t work”. There were two sockets next to the beds, of which one didn’t work either. They were going to have it fixed, but at the end of our stay (we spent 4 nights here), nothing had been fixed. In the shower there is no way of fixing the smaller sprinkler, so you have to hold it while using it. Neighborhood is quiet, but when traffic is passing, it sounds like they’re passing right next to you (very loud, windows aren’t very isolated). Overall, it made us feel the place is going to be worn out as much as possible without any maintenance done. If it weren’t for the good location, we wouldn’t recommend this place.
A friendly clean hotel in a perfect location for the West End.
The TV in room 12 needs a better reception. Most programmes were jumpy and stopping.
Yes the room was tiny and the equipment quite old, but 100% like in the photos! For that price at that location it's nice! The staff kind and helpful, some tiny details to make your stay more comfortable - like EU+US+USB wall sockets in the room :-)
The window was not soundproof at all. Luckily, it's a quiet location, but if you are sensitive to noises like birds in the morning, be aware it may wake you up.
The property is in a great spot—easy to find and very close to the metro and main station, making it super convenient to get around London. Several museums are within walking distance, which was a big plus. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommended!
The room was clean and the beds were decently comfy. The bathroom was also relatively modern and clean, but the shower did not drain well and the mirror light and fan did not work. Several of the outlets in the room didn’t work and the space was much smaller than the photos portrayed. Staff was very nice and the location was great!
Broken and unusable amenities, tiny space
staff was nice. location was good.
rooms are very small and noises from other room are clearly heard. hot water comes and goes in the morning, depending on who else is showering i guess. i switched a room with a friend, since my initial mattress was ultra low quality i and couldnt sleep at night.
It is a nice place, near the principal train stations (Euston, King Cross and St Pancras), it is very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.
The room is very small and there aren’t lift
Very central location - great food variety at the breakfast Buffett - very friendly staff
Rooms without AC - during Aug summer heat unbearable - with open room windows we could hear loud motorbikes at night - no elevator - difficult to bring our heavy bags up and down the stairs
A one star property in terms of service with no luggage storage and strict checkout times. Our double room was tiny at 110 square feet (much smaller than a cruise ship cabin). However it was very clean, well laid out, had good fans and a beautiful bathroom with a great shower. Lots of outlets.
Every time I got out of bed, I knocked the bed light of the wall. Needed a chair for the desk. Breakfast overpriced.
Very clean, friendly staff, possibility to make tee or coffee in the room, very good location near the British museum and not far from transportation. We could leave our stuff there after checkout . The ventilator in the room.
The room was quite small and no possibility to open the window more than a bit.
Close to Euston station, clean, friendly staff.
Shower needs a slight upgrade
Location was good
Small single bed that tended to roll off the base not ideal
The decor and location.
It was a little noisy with an outside machine unit during the day but this turned off at night.
A very British feeling hotel. The rooms are cute but small. The area is a beautiful classic English feel. The street was very quiet and easy to get to from the underground.
Great location. Friendly stuff.
The room is too small,
