    Pros +

    • The breakfast was decent and the location seemed safe.
    • Nothing!
    • Horrible hotel in a good location. Rooms back into a club/coffe shop that blasts music till 2 AM. There is no sound insulation. Old motel thats disguised as a hotel.

    Cons -

    • The room did not look like the picture. It was cramped, hot and noisy outside our room (in the basement) at all hours of the late night/early morning. The cleaning staff were throwing glass recycling in a bin or down a shoot that woke us up a few times.
    • This place is filthy, dirty carpets, no AC which is unbelievable. How can you even advertise this deplorable noisy place? Had to have a window open to survive with music all night long. Vehicle noise. Please do not advertise this deplorable place.

    Possibility for breakfastGood locationFriendly staff

Rooms need some TLC, bathroom was minimal so a tall person could struggle to have a nice shower or use the WC. Bed was of poor quality (I could even feel the springs on the side. I went out in the morning and came back at 13:00 and the room was still unclean, we stay for a couple of hours and we asked in the afternoon for a quick clean and towels replacement but the cleaning people does not work in the late afternoon/evening. The only fan did not work properly (no rotation) so it was difficult to sleep during the night. TV was minimal. WiFi was crashing sometimes

Good location. Hotel was on the District & Circle line. Near shops. Property is OK if not going to be staying in room much.

Room was very basic and quite cold. No wardrobe. Drafty window. Small electric radiator was provided, not great, & bed duvet was thin. Bathroom needed modernising, lots of cracks and missing grout in tiles. Building going on in floor above (drilling, noise). House keeping ignored the ‘do not disturb’ sign twice..

If you want to sleep at night, do not stay here.

This hotel completely ruined our stay in London. For THREE nights straight we could not sleep because there is a nightclub right under the windows. It was supposed to be “closed,” yet the music, shouting, and crowd noise went on until 5 a.m. every night. It felt like we were sleeping INSIDE the club. The hotel knew about this problem and still put us in this room. Nothing was done, no solution was offered, and we were left exhausted and miserable the entire trip. This place should not be renting out rooms with this level of noise — it's misleading and unacceptable. If you want to sleep at night, do not stay here.

I liked the room and the cleanliness.

The room was quite small but okay since I was alone

    Disgusting

The photos they put online does not match the real rooms at all. And when I asked about this, the receptionist told me that they only have one room that matches the photos. And they said they’re going to do nothing about it and if I want I can report them. We got the twin room. Sheets were dirty, under the bed there was bottles, food waste. Bathroom had mole on the walls.

Breakfast was fairly good and the entrance foyer, with its characterful furniture, old books and interesting lamps and mirrors etc, was the best feature of our stay. Twinings tea bags and biscuits in the room was a nice touch too.

The room was far too small for 3 adults. When one books a room, one expects at least one chair and bedside tables and somewhere to put a wash bag etc in the bathroom. This room had no such furniture at all - only a double and a single bed, with on tiny table completely taken up by the kettles, mugs and tea/coffee supplies. There was next to no room to walk round the end of the double bed, made more awkward by TV and heater on the wall. It all felt unnecessarily cramped and bland (nothing on the plain white walls except a basic rail and a handful of hangers) and we were glad we only had to put up with it for one night. Furthermore, there was absolutely no security when we returned after midnight. The front door was open for anybody to walk in, no one behind the reception desk or anywhere else in/near the building on the ground floor, which surprised us as we had been told that we would need the room key card to get into the hotel later in the evening.

It was perfectly located to where I needed to be for the week.

There is a club or lounge next door that starts having music and loud groups at 9pm and goes until 4a every night. It was so loud that I could not get to sleep until after they closed the lounge/club.

    Leaving

It was a dirty, tiny room, and very noisy at night

    2ArianaPosted on: 9-28-2025

Literally the only good thing about this hotel is the location.

    1. Dirty carpet with stains 2. The bedroom didn’t have a supporting table3. Clogged shower and lavatory4. The shower pressure was horrible, there was barely water coming out5. It didn’t have a place/enough space for the towels6. It didn’t have a place for toiletries 7. The lamps in the room worked on the first night and didn’t work on the second night8. It was noisy9. The hotel generally was very old and degraded 10. Dirty carpets on the hallways11. There was mold in the walls/ceiling in the hallways Long story short, the hotel posted photos that are not accurate and the hotel was absolutely horrible. We stayed 2 nights and we would NEVER come back again. The only reason I gave 2 stars out of 10 is because the location is great and the staff was nice, otherwise it would have been a zero.

    The location

Tiny room, very poor quality furniture, and extremely overpriced. Dirty carpets.

This hotel is in a great location, both the underground and buses are in walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast is also quite nice.

The condition of the room in general could have been a bit better, the bathroom is really tiny. There was a bar/pub under our window, that was somewhat noisy. No sophisticated way to leave the luggage behind after checkout.

Room was small but decent size en suite and it was very clean. Great location. Breakfast was fine, nothing fabulous but had all you need.

    3SheppardPosted on: 7-29-2025

The room was quite big and the reception staff was friendly.

I didn't actually stay at the property because I arrived and it was 34c. The room was on the 4th floor with a small fan that didn't rotate. It was absolutely roasting so we couldn't stay. I requested a refund but haven't heard back. The room was run down and dirty.

Very disappointed with the hotel. Sheets were stained with blood and towels had marks on them. Room was I renovated needs updating. Asked staff about another room at front desk. Not helpful. Didn’t care about clients. Very bad. Would not come back and would not recommend. Music Lou d downstairs until after 11pm. Bed was too soft, gave me additional back pain.

Very poor condition - nothing like the photosVery disappointing

The staff were lovely and good location

The mould in bathroom, the noise ALL night from next door. Missing blind let the street light shine in all night. Property should have a lift to access the lower apartments the stairs are dangerous.
