Pros +
- Lovely interiors. Friendly staff. Great location.
- Very very nice hotel.Well designed, clean and with good location.Breakfast is fabulous.
- Best service I have encountered in a hotel in some time. Excellent beds and linens. Spotless.
Cons -
- Lighting in 204 is reaaaaally bad. Needed some lateral lighting as opposed to just one very bright overhead light. Really let down the room. Also the walls in the otherwise very pretty breakfast room were quite dirty which, when you are sat right against them, is a little off-putting.
- It’s compact, lift only goes to the 2nd floor and we were on the 3rd , no toilets on the ground floor for guests to use if relaxing in front rooms
- The bed was small and the bathroom was so small we could not use it unless we opened the door.No drawers to place out clothes in

The Christmas decorations this year were impeccable. The hotel is always immaculate and the staff are so professional and kind. Breakfast was exceptional.
Great room and breakfast. Attentive staff.

Beautiful, well appointed room, inviting common areas including an honor bar, good food, lovely garden and friendly staff. Great location, 3 minute walk to South Kensington tube station, near museums and lots of restaurants in walking distance.
I stay here as often as I can. Wonderfully appointed, beautiful rooms. Amazing beds. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Very good location near subway station and museums. Food not as good as I remembered. Service friendly and polite.

Stayed before. Location
Luxury room was booked. Put in the basement which I immediately said I didn’t like to which the response was “well make a note for your next stay”. A bit assumption. Noisy ceiling all night and from 5am , workmen outside the window twice(remember basement). Stayed with the group before but not sure 400 GBP spent was valid
It’s quaint, cozy and elegant. Loved how calm and cozy it is. The staff are great and friendly, the amenities are perfect with personal touches. The room is perfectly clean and taken care of. If you’re looking for a quiet and quaint place this is the place to go. The South Kensington station is so close, and there are plenty of shops around the corner. The breakfast was amazing too.
The bathroom is a bit of a squeeze but I guess not much of a difference from other London places. My room was in the top floor, and the elevator doesn’t reach there, the staff were great and carried the luggage all the way up and all the way down though.
The decor was beautiful and very unique. The location in Kensington was terrific, very near a tube station and a short walk to the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Beautiful hotel, great location,
My room was in the attic and tiny and it was hard to get into the bathroom if the robe was on the back of the door. It felt slightly claustrophobic and felt like you'd have no chance of escape in a fire.
Stylish and efficient. Splendid Reception staff and service, very helpful and permitted drop off of luggage in the morning. Exciting and inspiring decor.
the hotel might like to consider groups of staff gathering and talking/ joking in the lounge where the drinks are made. It conveys the impression of over staffing and poor professionalism.
It's beautifully decorated and the bed is really comfortable. Excellent location.
Sadly for this price point the service was lacking. Most hotels would change out dirty glasses every day. Also the restaurant was seriously over priced.
Outstanding hotel in every way. Cosy, incredibly clean, quiet and so pretty.
