    Pros +

    • It’s a nice place with a good and convenient location. The room was tidy, well-maintained, and clean upon arrival, which gave a very positive first impression. The décor was simple but functional, and everything felt neat and cozy. However, there is no elevator, which can be challenging if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. The hallways are also quite narrow, which can make the space feel a bit cramped. Overall, though, the place meets expectations, and considering the price and location, it offers very good value for money.

    Cons -

    • Overall, the staff were nothing special. They were not rude, but they were not particularly welcoming or engaged either. There was a lack of genuine hospitality, which can otherwise make a big difference to the overall experience. When we were checking out, we asked if it would be possible to store our luggage and pick it up later in the day. We have never experienced this being an issue elsewhere. However, we were told that it would cost £5 per suitcase and that payment could only be made in cash. This seemed a bit strange, especially since all other payments at the property could be made by card. It gave a slightly unprofessional impression. We were also not asked how our stay had been or whether everything had met our expectations. In general, the staff gave the impression that they were not particularly interested in their guests or in providing a warm and personal service experience.
    • size of room, staff, cleanliness, state of room (it was old)bad reviews - bed bugs stated. not in our room. towels, bedding sheets and curtains were dirty of stains
    • The hotel is situated directly above the tube line. The heating was noisy, turning on and off throughout the night. The extractor fan in the shower room was also noisy and was on all the time. All 3 factors resulting in a disturbed night's sleep.

The interior looks contemporary, an amazing shower. The location is fine, very close to Victoria’s Station.

Initially, we had booked one double room and one single room. When we arrived, we were given two triple rooms, which we thought was the hotel’s decision. However, at around 23:00, after we had already unpacked and settled in, we were told that we needed to move to different rooms because other guests had arrived. One of the rooms had already been cleared by staff before we came back, and our unpacked belongings had been packed by hotel staff without us being present. This made us very uncomfortable. Personal belongings should not be handled without the guest’s permission.Although the night staff member was apologetic, the situation was poorly managed. Being asked to move late at night after unpacking was stressful and disruptive. We later emailed the hotel twice about this issue but did not receive any response, even after follow up letter. The lack of communication afterwards was very disappointing. The bins in the rooms were full of rubbish, the carpet was hovered poorly.

Was decent. Great location to Victoria and frieldly staff.

Small room though, hard to. Get around the bed. Sooooo many stairs. No clean bedding each day and towels no replaced each day but that didn't really bother us during this short stay. You might want to ask if staying longer.

    Tha location was good

The hotel was dirty small unwelcombing the carpet was filthy the pillows are flat and like bricks. No where to put cases, no where to hang towels in the bathroom, they have to stay on the floor and when you get changed you have to put your clothes on the toilet.no heating in the bathroom. rooms dont get serviced. not as advertised

    5FrancesPosted on: 2-20-2026

Lots of tea and coffee left out

Generally a bit grubby and depressing. The bathroom was freezing with no where to put anything. And two hooks for four towels

The value for money is great! Won't get many other cheaper places in central London. The location is brilliant, very close to Victoria station and River Thames.

    7EileenPosted on: 2-19-2026

    Very central

Our room did not have a window and felt very claustrophobic

Hotel:This hotel is well suited for a stay of 1–2 nights. The reception staff are friendly and supportive. It is located in the city center on a quiet street lined with hotels. Buckingham Palace is about a 20-minute walk away. The underground station and the railway station are very close by, as well as two small supermarkets — Tesco and Waitrose, plus several restaurants.Room:I knew the rooms were small, but we were given a slightly larger one, and there was enough space for our luggage. The shower was excellent — spacious, with good fittings, perfectly clean, and with great hot water. The receptionist kindly explained how to turn on the heating in case we felt cold at night. The bed linen and towels were clean. There were four pillows for the two of us. They were not thick, which suited me perfectly — I only needed one. The curtains completely block out sunlight when closed, allowing you to sleep very well without any external light.

There was increased humidity after taking a shower.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the theatre, stations, restaurants, and for sightseeing. The room was perfect for a nights stay, and decor was lovely.

The tap in the bathroom had rusted, and there was some mould on it. We ended up buying bottled water to use in the kettle as didn’t feel comfortable using the tap.Rest of the bathroom was clean and no issues.

Great quality hotel for the price in the area.Nice and quiet, good size rooms and bathroom, with nice furnishing and finishes.

    Enough room & Clean

    Staff were hardly welcoming

    1VildePosted on: 2-12-2026

    Not as expected

10 min walk to Victoria station. Dirty carpets on the floor. Freezing bathroom. Dirty sheets and towels. Really tiny and almost claustrophobic room. Dusty. Really high moisture in the room as well. I was very disappointed with my stay, in consideration for the price I paid as well. I would suspect better service, and a cleaner room. I also had to pay 5£ in cash to leave my bag at the hotel after check-in, seems a bit sus to me.

    8AlanPosted on: 2-12-2026

The staff were friendly and helpful. Location felt safe and was walkable to Victoria theatre. The price for two nights was reasonable.

Paint work worn. Taps rusted and the sliding pocket door did not close properly. Although these issues would not stop me staying here again.

    Well situated.

This is not a hotel. Just a place with room, no breakfast. Need to pay in cash to let the luggage.

    8MavridouPosted on: 2-9-2026

Great location, close to one of the best stations, 24/7 reception, let us leave the luggage

Could be cleaner,Room was very very small

    7JamesPosted on: 2-9-2026

Location is excellent. Room was clean and tidy.

Soft bed, night receptionist lacked personality. The day receptionist was very helpful though.
