There was no breakfast. Coffee machine broken and in a very awkward position.I liked the linens and the shower.
Room was poorly laid out we. Could barely get past the bed and hhurt ourselves on the bed frame corner. The coffee pot was broken. The floor was mushy and crooked. The window didn’t close. Noisy pidgeon outside the window and the carry histosporosis. Entry door to room bumped into the hall door. Hard to enter.
It was a well appointed room with kitchenette. Was able to cook several meals and keep the London costs down. Staff were always cheerful and helpful which made the stay even better. Security was very good and the place was quiet both inside and on the street it was on. Two nearby Tube stations got us all over London to see the sight and Hyde Park was within a block, perfect for winding down.
Signage. The hotel is distinguished by on the number “39” on the two poles at the entrance. We had to double check that we were in the right place. We pushed the building buzzer with much trepidation as we were concerned it may be someone’s home. Once in, no issues after that.
The location was great, the staff was attentive, and the room was clean. Though the room was very very small, it was thoughtfully laid out in order to take advantage of every inch to make sure many amenities were available.
The double room was perfect for just me, but it was too small to be comfortable for my two friends, a couple who was also staying in a double room.
The room was very warm and the only air flow was opening the window to the excessive noise that seemed to go on til almost 2am nightly.
Wasn’t too far from the district line or the circle line.
LocationClean and friendly staff
The kettle was awkward to plug in
Loved that it had a little kitchenette with a microwave and 2 burners, and small fridge. I also really appreciated the 2 full length mirrors. And the bed was comfy. The location is wonderful as well.
The room was clean, so no complaints. But you can tell it has had quite a bit of wear and tear. There are some dingy spots and the flooring is a bit warped near the bathroom. Didn't bother me, but worth noting for future guests. I found this studio to be a good deal considering the location. I would stay again.
Great location, good price, comfy beds
Cleaness of bedsheets, bathroom cleanness
I loved that it was well located within 5 or 10 minutes walk of many buses and trains which I could use to get around. Having a lift was helpful with a large suitcase. I like having access to a fridge and kitchen facilities so I did not have to eat out every night. The room was compact but had everything I needed.
I loved the neighborhood, super cute and felt really safe although I rarely walked very late at night. The Kensington Gardens were right across and I had a lovely run there. The Bayswater tube station was super close and that station had the circle line (yellow) that takes you to all the tourist locations. Uber ride to catch the train to Amsterdam was $10 and like 10-15 mins away. Arrived from Paddington station it was amazing there - had wifi and like 5-8 min ride to hotel. The actual hotel was good for the price. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the shower. The cleanliness was good but not spotless. Some wear and tear was visible like a shelf was falling off but overall great especially for the price.
Location was perfect, staff ready to help and it operated like an aparthotel or apartment hotel. The work desk was unique.
Space is small compared to American sensibilities. But, perfectly normal for central London
Uncomfortable
Facilities were so old and worn. Bed was so hard. It was dirty too. The whole thing needs refurbishment. I felt uncomfortable
The location.Beds were very comfortable. The little kitchen.
Everything was there but it was too small and not much place to put your suitcases and clothes
The staff were super nice. It was very close to Hyde park and public transit. The air conditioning was very efficient. The bed was comfy.
The room was very small. The kitchenette was unusable - the faucet leaked when I turned it on so I had to use the one in the bathroom, and there were barely any utensils or cookware.
The staff were very nice and helpful, great location and clean room
It was a little small
Great place to stay the staff were lovely and very helpful.very clean , had everything we needed and after a very hot couple of days the air con in the room was very welcome and was great in the heat ?
Can't say there was anything I didn't like about the room , if I had to I would say the bathroom could of been a little bigger but it was fine for what we needed .
The location was near 2 Tube stations. It was old but clean. Was fine to stay a few nights since we were only sleeping there. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were available most of the day up until 11:00. Had an elevator and air conditioning. The shower was really good and had some toiletries. Had some kitchen stuff with a small fridge so we could make breakfast. We would buy sandwiches the night before at a supermarket near by and could put in the fridge.
The room was very small and had little room to move around with 3 of us in the room. Beds were on the hard side. The floors were uneven. There were 3 of us and only 2 plates. We only slept there and ate breakfast.
Great location, close to two Underground stops, Paddington Station, Hyde Park and many restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.
Our room was comically small for three people. Yes, there were beds for us to sleep in, but there was no room to walk around the furniture or to keep our luggage. The WiFi was also very inconsistent, dropping often.
