Cons -
- Couldn’t open blinds because of lack of privacySign out front says unstable propertyMold in shower and few other spots in roomRoom smelled of moldNo kitchen or bathroom hand towel
- The bathroom was covered in black mold. All over the ceiling and shower. So foul. The walls were paper thin and you can hear everything. The water was a hit or miss on working. Shut off completely on us three time for more than 20 minutes. You get what you pay for and a little worse. Front desk manager hates his life and was rude. Front door is completely unmarked would never know it’s a “hotel”
- Very poor check-in policy and unhelpful staff. It is practically impossible to check in after 9:00 PM, and the staff were unwilling to offer any assistance or flexibility. The room was not as advertised and did not match the photos we booked and paid for. It was extremely small, with a tiny bed that was very uncomfortable for two people.Additionally, the windows were poorly insulated, making it impossible to sleep due to constant noise from cars passing on the street throughout the night.

Possibly the worst accommodation I have stayed in since 1996. I have taken photos of the disgusting state of this apartment, the creaky old mattresses were awful, this was so bad that people need to know not to come here and pay a little more but stay in better conditions. I paid for 2 nights and my young daughters and I left the next morning and found a better hotel (which was better and a huge relief). Do not book this place, I will actually ask for a full refund, I doubt I will get it.
Poor service, poor facilities, dirty, maintenance was awful, paint work was awful, scratched and dirty. Just awful. I have taken photos of the state of the general maintenance.
Rating: 1/10 (would give 0 if possible)
This stay was deeply disappointing and felt like a complete misrepresentation. We booked and paid extra for a Double Studio, advertised as approx. 14 m², with space, dining table, proper layout and basic comfort. What we received was a much smaller room, nothing like the photos or description. The bed was pushed against the wall, there was no proper space to open suitcases, no dining table (despite being shown in the listing), and no mirror in the room, only a small bathroom mirror. The most serious issue: the shower was practically unusable due to extremely low water pressure. Showering was physically impossible. When reported immediately upon arrival, the owner stated this was “normal for the area” and suggested letting the water run and trying later — which did not solve anything. We requested an immediate room change, but were told the property was “fully booked” and that nothing could be promised. This directly contradicts the room we originally booked and paid for.At €173 per night, this accommodation is absolutely not acceptable, neither in terms of comfort nor basic functionality. What makes this worse is that neither the accommodation nor Booking.com provided any resolution, despite complaints being raised immediately and followed up. We never received a room change, compensation, or meaningful response. We left London feeling disappointed, stressed, and frankly misled. This experience significantly affected our holiday. This felt less like a hospitality issue and more like a bait-and-switch situation. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious — the room you get may not match what you book.
I had a room in the basement and neither internet (wifi) nor my phone worked down there. When I asked at the reception they said that the room was advertised as "without wifi" (which to be honest I had not noticed), tried to fix it by restarting the router but it didn't solve the problem.
Staff were very nice and friendly.
The room was musty, paint was peeling and floors and bed sheets were stained with what looked like black mould. We had to leave the fan on in the bathroom to get rid of the smell in the room.
Location excellent for travelling.Accommodation very good had everything you need. Bed/towels clean., changed towels dailyHad full size fridge, little freezer, microwave toaster coffee machine & kettleCompact but more than adequate
no complaints
The location is amazing. The room provides all facilities. It is quiet yet close to the all important things - supermarket, tube station. It was easy to get cabs too.
The bathroom was very tiny. The shower area especially. Difficult to move in the cubicle. The drainage system can be a tad better.
The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The area was quiet (Saturday evening, October). Very close to the underground and Baker street. We did a lot of walking to reach a few places we wanted to visit. The building also has a separate toilet in the hall which was very handy
For the price, cleanliness and the low noise levels, it wasn't much we didn't like. We were in the basement, so we had no good view but we didn't expect that either. The bathroom was small with the toilet very squeezed. That's why we appreciated the separate toilet in the hall that was very clean and maintained.
Bed is comfortable, also a goood local and everything is clean
Great location, building was quiet inside.
Our room was facing the street and the windows were single pane and drafty which let in all sound particularly noticeable in the morning during rush hour with cars and motor bikes. Could be solved with new sealed unit windows. At the time of our stay the front door off the street did not lock and it felt uncomfortable that anyone could walk into the building.
Central location; private bathroom in the room. Close to Regent's park and Hyde Park. Walking distance from Soho and nice spots in Marylebone.
My room was next to the entrance door and street side of the building; with earplugs it was not a bother tho, but I was worried when I got the room. I knew it was ground floor, though. It is shown online (and name of the hotel) as a studio, yet it's a room. Yes there is a microwave and a fridge, but I would not call that a kitchen. Outside you can't see that it's a hotel.
Location was spot on. Lots of useful appliances in the room. A fridge kettle and iron for example.
All good.
Location
Unclean, noisy room.
There is nothing redeeming about this horrible excuse for a hotel…
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. The room reeked of mildew and dirty towels from the moment I walked in. It was unbearable and completely unhygienic. When I brought this to the front desk, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful. They simply shrugged it off and told me there was nothing they could do. No offer to move rooms, no attempt to address the problem—just indifference. For the price and location, you’d expect at least a basic level of cleanliness and customer service, but this place fails miserably on both fronts. I strongly recommend staying literally anywhere else in London.

Wifi slowCheckin time not flexible , must be before 9pm
Easy check in, easy to find and does what it says - somewhere to get your head down for the night
Doesn't look like the photos. They were clearly taken years ago after a refurb. The hotel is very grotty now in comparison and smells very damp in the basement room I had. Not really the environment I would pick to stay in with my 7yr old daughter
This hotel is a scam, please stay away from it. I tried for months to get in touch with anyone at the hotel, but all I got were automated messages. Their phone number listed on Booking.com is out of service, and there is no other phone number listed on their website. Horrible experience, STAY AWAY

Perfect if you need a central location but also a quiet one.
The only disturbance were the pigeons in the morning coming at our window. It would be useful to have a lamp beside the bed if one person wants to read while the other is sleeping.
