Amhurst Hotel

Great value for money here. Rooms are decent enough and there's a common room with cooking equipment and a lovely garden. Wifi worked fine.

Beds could be a bit comfier, but totally fine for the price. As I've said, good value for money here.

The Hotel actually was transformed from a nice big house, it's very good experience to stay in there. Staff are very nice, it's very clean bed sheet and toilet (even they're shared toilets).

If can provide more room amenities, hair-dryer and more hangers would be World Class.

Breakfast was good and very accommodating for my cousin who has celiac. Gluten free option provided. Staff were friendly.

Well located and it has private parking. They allowed us to check-in earlier.

Rooms are old, personal is not too welcoming and one of the toilets wasnt working.

Mould in kettle and shower :/ noisy area but thats not the hotels fault. I didnt research the area so thats on me. There were also mixed smells in the communal areas I.e smoke.

Good price and not hard to find, with a little garden

No slipper,No toothbrush,No gel, No Replacement of bed sheets and quilt covers, the temperature of the bath water is always extremely hot

A nice clean, tidy room. The Hotel manager was polite and helpful. A good view of the back garden. Close to a Sainsbury's supermarket and few other shops, and also close to a train station.

The beds were a little hard to sleep in but otherwise, ok.

Shocking and wouldn't stay ever again

Everything was dirty, Was noise as hell,Beds where dirty and wasn't comfortable.

It isn't the ritz but you get what you pay for. Nice room, excellent comfy bed. Nice host. I can't fault it really at all.

Our Room was perfect for a 4-night London trip. It was very small but we had everything we needed. It was clean, check in and out was easy and the shower and bed were fine. By the way, our Room was very light, which I liked very much and there was a nice garden.

For people, who don't like noise, the street outside may be a little bit too loud.

Mousse traps in the kitchen does not do for a good stay aldough no mousse seen or heard.We had no table evendough we had a kitchen.

Close proximity to buses and the overground railway was very convenient. A supermarket and pharmacy were within easy walking distance from the hotel..A fridge and kettle in the room were very useful, as well as access to the kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful

The bathroom was small but adequate. Bedside reading lamps would have been useful.

Toilets was sticking, the toilet seat was dirty not proper cleaned, dust on tv cables were there probably for years. Under the carpet the wood was broken

Jeff welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our rooms. The hotel is excellent for people who are going to nearby matches and attractions and just need a place to sleep and then go out and about again. There is a nice garden to relax in if you need a bit of fresh air. The shower was excellent and had plenty hot water, the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The bedrooms were clean enough and very quiet as we were at the back of the hotel, and the bed was comfortable. Location is perfect for access to bus stops and the nearby Stamford Hill train station.

The wi-fi could have been better however I didn't book the room to be on the internet all day!

The room had a fridge, kettle (which I didn't expect) and comfortable bed. The man in the reception was friendly. Felt safe and relatively quiet for Friday night. I liked that my room faced the back garden. Good that the sink is on the room

I rang several times at the reception standing in the dark before someone opened (at least 5 times). Only one functioning toilet for everyone. Overly warm in the room- the radiator was put on max in late April and hard to cool the room even after turning it to 0 and opening the window. Not enough information on the wall or a booklet- check out times, if breakfast was included and at what time. How to reenter the building should have been on the wall. The cupboard was snapped in half but didn't need it. It could have been slightly cleaner.

Perfect for what I came to London for. Was happy with room & location. Friendly hotel cat was a bonus!
