- The location is excellent - one minute from Mansion House tube, very convenient. Most of the staff were patient and genuinely tried to help with room changes and requests. The Superior and Deluxe rooms are stylish and unique, with beautiful design and high-end materials.Rooms were spotless and very clean.Breakfast is made to order (not buffet style) and the food itself is good.

Cons -
- Rooms facing the inner courtyard are very noisy due to constant buzzing from air conditioning and echoing infrastructure. I specifically requested a quiet room but was initially placed in a noisy one. The buzzing made it difficult to rest after a workday. They tried to move me to another internal room and offered a suite for an additional charge, which I declined. Eventually, I was given a lower-grade room for the first night and then moved to an external-facing room. Breakfast was offered as compensation for the downgrade, though the value didn’t fully match the difference.Infrastructure does not match a 5-star level - old and noisy elevators, poor water drainage in sink and bathtub (I had to ask for maintenance).Cappuccinos at breakfast were below average.
- Staff in the restaurant were not very welcoming in the restaurant.
- Room slightly small but really clean and well decorated

Staff and location
Room slightly small but really clean and well decorated
Great location. Friendly staff from greeting. Nice facilities in room: comfy bed, coffee maker, television. Breakfast was made to order and very nice.
Little bit of a queue to check out - about 10 mins wait
We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and it made the occasion feel really special. The welcome was warm and genuine, and we were kindly given a complimentary room upgrade. A box of sweets was even hand delivered to us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. All the staff were friendly and attentive, with a special thanks to Hamid, the concierge, who truly stood out
Our room was beautiful , the staff were wonderful . We arrived early and our room was ready ! We loved our one night stay there for Valentine’s Day.
Location, ambience, staff, vibes, cleanliness, helpful staff
Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom, quiet and un disturbed, you can connect your phone to the tv via screen sharing. Hotel was warm and cosy. Double shower and high pressure shower. Dimmable lighting in the room, radio that connects to your phone so you can play music, restaurants nearby. Easy to get to this hotel. Kind staff at reception when checking in/out.
Priced high for one night but we did come around a busy period. Toilet seat could have been more newer, one of the lifts weren’t working and you couldn’t go up to floor 7 so you had to use the second lift and when you select a floor the button wouldn’t light up. The rooftop bar was so “mid” and “overrated”. Would not recommend that. Staff at the rooftop bar are not careful and inexperienced - the amount of times the staff barged past my chair so I moved seats! Partner ordered beef pastry dish and it tasted too heavy. It came with mash but it’s like they put the mash inside a cupcake icing packet and squeezed it onto the plate (very small portion) and wasn’t hot or even warm when it arrived. Fish and chips were very oily and the chips weren’t amazing. It was just mid. Scampi was lovely. The breakfast isn’t “all that” either although breakfast seating area does look pretty. Hash browns are apparently “homemade” but looked like they were purchased in bulk from wholesale and did not taste good. We specifically asked eggs to be made well-done and it came runny and you can see the raw egg whites oozing out. Could not eat that. The vegan sausage looked and tasted like rubber, bland and very “man-made”. So I ate Cumberland instead which was better. Better to go somewhere else for breakfast and dinner in our opinion. Rooftop bar sounds nice but you can’t even see the city and it’s a very small area. Without the breakfast and rooftop restaurant, it’s a lovely hotel. We got a standard room which some say is small but the bed is big so I don’t mind. Would come back but not for breakfast or the rooftop bar.
We stayed with a child and she was made to feel very welcome. There were activities for her to do placed in the room, including some age appropriate books. She also had childrens slippers, robe and toiletries.
Getting up! The bed was soooo comfortable!
Nice, little boutique hotel well situated in a quiet, but super accessible to most major attractions, location. Staff (particularly Fabiana) were all super friendly and helpful. Rooms, whilst small, are well equipped and very clean. Breakfast was also very good. It is à la carte and at an additional cost, but that means you can choose to either eat in the hotel or pop around the corner to one of the numerous bakeries or coffee shops nearby instead. Finally, there is a decent speakeasy style cocktail bar in the basement that makes a great location for an ‘end-of-the-night’ drink when you get back to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
They just need to fix the right hand-side lift!
The room, the staff, the breakfast
The area is not as lively in the weekends as it is in the week but still fairly central in London
Super well situated in the city with easy connections to airports while tucked away in a small alley. Love that I can get quality rest in peace and quiet in the busy London. Staff at V&M are all very kind and helpful which made the stay even better.
Great location; super-comfortable bed; rain shower over bath; cocktail bar; good-value breakfast; lovely, helpful staff.
The staff were incredible, very attentive and personalised our stay
Did feel like a generic commercial hotel. Not cheap but it’s the definition of a boutique hotel
Lovely boutique hotel, modern beautifully designed and comfortable rooms. Tucked away and quiet. Good sound insulation, we didn’t hear any street noise at all. Great staff
Breakfast not included but good breakfast menu available at a reasonable (for London) price
We loved everything about the hotel, particularly the staff, who couldn't do enough - Hamad was outstanding. We had everything we needed and when we wanted something it was dealt with straight away. It was my daughter's graduation and we were thoroughly spoilt throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and the facilities great - lived the speak easy bar.
We loved everything.
The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The decor is chic boutique, very well kept. Good location close to tube stations.
The only slight negative was the close proximity to a church which meant the bells went off regularly. Not enough to be an issue though.
Great location for access to the City and West End while being peaceful. Very helpful staff and smart and well designed rooms.
Would have been nice if it was a bit cheaper!
Lovely. Interior designers did a great job. Very quiet location but still within walking distance of interesting places.
Lovely hotel in a great location. The rooms are tastefully decorated, they provide free snacks and drinks, great bathroom amenities, as well as daily newspaper. Like in the old days, which I really appreciate. They definetly focus on the attention to details.
