Pros +
- Located well to the station, nice bathroom and shower was spacious. Smart TV, well compacted wardrobe / vanity area. Bed was super comfy and spacious.
- Decor felt luxury, coffee machine was a nice touch. Great shower and comfy bed.
- Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Excellent staff.
Cons -
- Breakfast was cold and found the sausages were not brown and bacon quite fatty. They could have advertised you can order fried eggs.
- Air con was awful, and needed to change rooms. Second room was better air con, but still not great. Considering it is winter, the rooms were super hot.
- There were no toilet brushes provided in our room and the aircon didn’t appear to operate very effectively.

The staff were great and location perfect for what we needed
The bed was only a double - I thought it was a king when booking - apparently only suites have king beds which I think is disappointing for a hotel of this standard and cost
We always stay at this hotel every time we come down to London. It is in the perfect location for us, right outside Aldgate East station so super accessible. Room is great every time, and staff are always lovely. Could not ask for more especially for the great price.
There really isn't anything bad I could say! Have stayed at the hotel around 5 times now and each time is great.
Style and convenient location
Considering how new the hotel is room already showing wear and tear. Shower door leaking already.
Great location, clean, lovely staff! Premium feel!
Nothing!
Good location, close to Tube station.
For 2 people room is small.
Good value, large room, comfy beds and lots of nice extras in the room.
The aircon in the room is not controllable by the thermostat in the room so it was really hot which was quite uncomfortable in the night. The balcony doors also locked shut so couldn’t get it cold no matter what we tried. Also, if you go to the bathroom it turns on many lights that then illuminate the bedroom which is a strange design.
The location is amazing. You have 4/5 stations all within a 15 minute walk with shops nearby. The hotel was clean and had everything you needed as well as a great selection of teas and biscuits in the room. The shower was perfect. The staff were great and accommodated all my requests
The only issue was the thermostat was stuck at 24° making it pretty uncomfortable without the option to open a window
Very quiet, classy sort of hotel with very comfortable rooms, on a pedestrianised street with no.traffic noise, yet 100 m from a tube station. Two of my criteria for choosing a hotel are subdued, tasteful decor (no purple carpets or fake gold here) and a walk-in shower with a big sunflower head. Ticked both boxes. A very good breakfast buffet too, whether you favour traditional cooked or healthy cold cuts with fruit and yoghurt. And the staff were lovely. My new favourite hotel.
It was immaculate, beautiful design and ideal location.Kris and Raj at the reception were really welcoming! Thank you!
Nothing! Everything was perfect!
Nice location, very friendly staff
Good and clean room
Clean, daily change of towels. Location is very close to the metro.
Breakfast could have offered more variety and better service. The menu lists scrambled, fried, boiled, or poached eggs. I asked for an omelette but was told I would have to pay extra, even though it’s made from the same two eggs, just cooked differently. On one occasion, I ordered fried eggs and specifically requested them well-cooked, but they arrived almost raw.Another time, I arrived at 7:00 a.m. (breakfast is served from 6:00 a.m.), and there was no staff member available to take my order for fried eggs. Someone only appeared when I was nearly finished with my meal. Since the hotel provides a menu on the table inviting guests to place orders, I believe this aspect of the service could have been handled much better.Additionally, on Saturday the menu with the ordering options was removed for some reason and then returned the following day, which was confusing and made the experience inconsistent.
The modern condition of the hotel. The room was comfortable - big enough for a solo traveller or couple. The room and bathroom were clean and welcoming.
Not enough tissues in tissue box.It was not clear if the popcorn and chocolate bar were complementary.
Great location clean and happy staff
Location. Bathroom nice.
Bar prices. Food prices expensive.
The location was great, right by the tube station and a short walk from Liverpool Street train station. The staff were friendly and professional. The room was really nice and comfortable and the breakfast excellent.
Nothing to raise
The location was great for travel on subway with shops and bars close by
