TEHE LOCATION, SO NEAR THE PADDINGDON STATION, IS VERY GOOD.
THE BREAKFAST IS VERY BAD...POOR.
Amazing location, exactly what I expected for value for money. The flexibility on dates, I needed a last minute room and they delivered. My room was ready early, so rather than go off and leave my bags in holding. I went straight to the room - couldn't have asked for more. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Nothing was a problem.I was offered a hairdryer when I checked in - little things like that really make a differenceI do intend to stay again and will recommend
The stairs, it is something to be weary of. They are not ideal for ill of health, pregnant, mobility barriers or slightly senior in years. Of course the hotel can't help this due to obvious building regs - but I'm glad a couple of reviews about this first. The noise from the station tannoy, do not expect a completely quite night because announcements will be made periodically - again not the hotels responsibility.
The location is excellent. As soon as you leave Paddington Station, you are just a few steps away from the hotel. It is convenient for walking to some of the main tourist attractions. The staff member who seems to be the owner is very kind. He called me with arrival instructions while I was still on my way. Always very polite and helpful.
Unfortunately, the room is not only small, but also quite old and lacks proper furniture. There is only an old metal shelf, which is quite inconvenient. The bathroom is not good. In the sink, there is a makeshift solution with two taps, so there is not enough space to put your hands under the water properly. The shower was not hot in the morning. Finally, nothing very serious, but the hotel does not have an elevator.
Friendly staff
Room very basic and bed was very old. The mattress was very uncomfortable
Clean room, sheets and towels. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. The hotel is right in front of Paddington station and the whole area is full of shops and restaurants.
Small room and bathroom. Twin bed room is ok for a couple of nights for 2 people, probably even better if you are traveling alone. The street outside can be noisy all night.
Location was excellent. Room had all we needed and beds very comfortable
Lot of street noise, people talking loudly outside till 1am and emptying rubbish bins in the street
Very close to Paddington Station
Receptionist Asheq made me feel uncomfortable, asking about where I was going and what I was doing that night to an excessive extent. When I said I was leaving the next day he said that it was a shame because he was going to ask me out. Very noisy in the single room because of the very loud announcements until late at night and starting early in the morning. They should advertise to bring your ear plugs. I didn't sleep well at all. Lots of devices plugged into a multisocket plug hanging from the wall. Room smelled strongly of bleach.I asked if I could leave my luggage for the day after checking out, the receptionist said yes but then said he was doing it as a favour for me, that it wasn't as standard. Not sure if it is standard practice or not, but thought I read it was what they offered.
I could see Paddington Station from my window, windows open, many shops restaurants, pubs, laundry close walk. Safe, clean, simple room. Key access to lobby and key to room. All hour access. Good email communication. Was able to leave luggage in morning and check in later.
I did not mind steep stairs, but someone with physical difficulties might.
The location was good for me as it has proximity to restaurants and the train station which makes it easier for me to get to the airport on time.
The location and hospitality of the manager
Very helpful staff, with an early check+in that made the day go smoothly. While the Sophia is careworn, everything was there to make a comfortable stay, with tea and coffee making, a fan heater and fan, a comfy bed and an ensuite. The location, right across from Paddington station, is very handy, though this time I did get noise from the Underground station.
The 2nd floor room had quite a bit of noise from the Underground that I hadn't encountered when staying on the 1st floor previously, so a set of earplugs might be worth packing for next time.
Very close to Paddington railway station and other amenities, clean and comfortable room.
There was no lift. Spiral stairs were really narrow. It was really difficult to carry my heavy luggage to second floor room.
2 minutes from Paddington Station. Low cost
Extremely basic. Shabby lobby and stairs
It was close to Paddington... only thing
I accidentally booked a day later than intended. On arrival, rather than a system ready to talk me this, I had to wait 40 minutes at the request of the local shop next door for the manager to return. When he did, he allowed me to change my booking for a payment of £200 cash... double my original booking fee.On leaving the next morning, I was informed I would still be charged the original fee. So in total, £300 for a clean but otherwise awful room.
The room was very affordable at such last minute. The staff were pleasant even when I had to let them know I had left my key locked in the room. I was only there for a night but it was comfortable and ensuite
Very close to Paddington station, which is what we wanted. We arrived very late and the staff member was extremely helpful and even changed our room to a lower floor after seeing our luggage.
Room was very basic and very noisy outside
Location close to the tube and train station. Kind staff.
Price was high but in London hard to find anything cheap and high quality.
the location is good. Near to tube
noisyNoise coming from street. The tap is difficult to turn offThe bathroom is not clean
