Pros +
- Next to Paddington Station with easy connections to everything.
- Hotel employee were incredibly hospitable
- Convinient to train station. Clean and modern
Cons -
- The climate control did not work properly. Had to sleep with the window open. Being next to the railway tracks made it difficult to sleep.
- When booking, there should have been a disclosure about it under going renovations. All day long all we heard was drills and construction. Everything was based upon using this location so I was not able to make adjustments without significant costs.
- Shower gel isn't sufficient.

Convinient to train station. Clean and modern
The location is great. Next door to Paddington station. 2nd time staying here.
Shower gel isn't sufficient.
The tissue & toilet paper were not well stocked. I didn’t like the toilet separate & so far from bathroom.
They gave us room not as we book it was so small
Location
They gave us room not as we book it was so small
Fantastic location and spacious. Good breakfast and dinner options. Provided earlier check in with no extra cost.
The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful in storing our pram and luggage. The modern design of the hotel looked excellent, our room was very comfortable and the breakfast bar was particularly good.
Our only complaint was that there was a fault with the pool that meant it wasn't available for the second half of our stay.
Location Quiet rooms Breakfast was great and nice space
Rooms too warm, with no air con on, stifling.Needed to open a window, Windows were heavy to open and only provided a small draft
Acceptable
No swimming pool and we we re not advised prior to travelling, we chose this hotel for the swimming pool as we had children. They were very disappointed.
The lobby area. The restaurant, the bar.
Morden hotel, facilities are great but the bathroom is poor.
Great buffet brekkie for £18 if you book the evening before, good range of hot and cold food plus cereals, bread , pastries etc.
The step out of the shower is about 9 inches to the floor, a challenge no doubt for our seniors,Need to revamp the toilet/bathroom set ups,Unattended children ( circa 6 to 10 yr olds) in the gym lifting weights....
Welcoming staff, clean, great facilities and breakfast. It was my daughter’s birthday and they prepared a lovely surprise. Would stay again.
Friendly staff and accomodating
Carpets in my room needed a big clean. Also wasn’t made aware of the renovations and noise and pool closure before my stay, which made it hard to sleep during the day after my 24hrs of travel. I had planned to stay here on my last leg of my trip in a couple of weeks but have since decided to change hotels bc of the above. Once renovations are completed I’d recommend staying here.
Good location and comfortable beds
The pool facilities were closed - we booked this hotel due to the pool. A courtesy email to mention the pool was closed would have been ideal.
The staff kindly upgraded our room at no extra cost because we've visited several times.
The hotel is in a great location and the surrounding area is lovely.
Clean room and friendly staff.
Pool not in use. This was main reason for booking this hotel. We booked 3 guests but only had 2 teabags, 2 mugs etc! The lighting was odd and the air conditioning light came on and off when trying to sleep!
good location, clean well appointed rooms.
Pleasant staff, good facilities, good location, good comfort, nice room
Breakfast expensive……wife doesn’t eat much so choice of full & continental breakfast needed
