2 Chesham Hotel

The location is amazing. The room is big enough, and very comfy, beautiful and very clean.

Our room was facing the street so it was very noisy. They do provide earplugs, but if you are a light sleeper, make sure you ask for a room that is not facing the street.

We very much enjoyed that the property is located in a quiet neighborhood of Belgravia but with easy access to 2 Tube stations each within about 10 minutes walking distance. We also felt very safe walking around at night and there wasn’t much vehicular traffic in terms of noise. The tasty breakfast served every morning consisted of buffet and à la carte options with fresh ingredients, and the staff was extremely welcoming and courteous.

Although our standard room was on the larger size of what one can expect in London, we still felt that the interior design could have included some elements to make our 5 night stay more comfortable, such as some additional wall hooks to hang clothes or a wet umbrella. Despite the closet, it still felt cluttered at times (see pictures). Although the property has been renovated, the rooms are starting to show some wear and tear (see pictures) and could use some maintenance such as a thorough cleaning of the carpeted floor, removal of soap scum and polishing in the bathroom, some fresh paint, and a cleaning of the hvac system as we did catch a whiff of, dare I say, sewage through the vents when we turned on heating/cooling.

Very beautiful and clean hotel, great food and staff. We stayed there twice in Feb. 2026 at each end of visits outside London. Recommend it!

The second time we stayed in a basement room and couldn’t seemTo get it to a comfortable temperature. That may have been our issue due to skylight controls.

Great location close to restaurants, theater and shopping. Comfortable accommodations and beautiful area. Staff were professional, friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast was great & definitely the best bit of the stayGreat location

The room was small. Lift to floor below & had to walk up a flight of stairs with luggage. Aircon set at a temperature & impossible to turn down. The Mini Bar was badly stocked & only had coke & one quarter bottle champagne not what was on the menu. Expensive for what was on offer

The cold temperature in your breakfast area.

I stayed in one of the rooms without a window and didn’t notice at all. The high ceilings made the space feel open, airy, and surprisingly luxurious rather than enclosed or suffocating. The room was beautifully finished and very comfortable.Breakfast was excellent, and the convenience of the location is a real highlight - everything is within easy reach if you like fashion and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and location.

The only minor downside was some noise early morning, as the room opposite appeared to be used for storage, which caused a little disturbance. That said, it didn’t take away from an otherwise very enjoyable stay.

The room was underground, without any natural light.

Room was pleasantly appointed and spacious by London standards. Very clean. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Pillows to die for.

Room on 2nd floor was rather warm despite air-con.

The staff were helpful although messed our bookings up twice for taxis causing extra cost to us.

Great location. Great rooms. Hotel in the middle of a refurb so common areas need work but overall - great and the room was fab.

Very nice hotel, quiet, clean and cozy. Very nice breakfast with small buffet and a lot of options to choose from a la carte.

Check in was fast and easy, staff were lovely and professional all along the stay. Room service food was so good and freshly made. The room itself was very clean and cozy for two people. The building was safe and located in a safe area, everything was close.

The only thing was the water heater temperature, it doesn’t go hotter than the fixed temperature, it was much needed after a long day in very cold weather.

A fantastic hotel in a great location! Everything was perfect during our stay. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The staff members were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast with its freshness and multiple options. We look forward to staying again.
