Property was affordable, clean and staff was very courteous. The rooms only have the basic necessities for a short stay.

Hotel is quite dated. Bathroom fan was quite loud.

The place was clean, quiet, comfortable, had fridge and microwave, was large enough to do morning stretches, had towels, soap and hot water. The staff was friendly and helpful. I went in expecting a local, family-run place where I'm not king of the hill but give and receive decent treatment. I got a comfortable, friendly, safe, clean place. I would stay there, again. It was also very close to nice, reasonable restaurants, shopping centers, on the city's #11 bus line, and on a bike route.

The decor felt a bit monastic rather than homey. But I was in town for a music fest and didn't stay in the room all day.

When we arrived, the woman behind the counter was very nice. Although we had a bit of a language barrier, she did her best and made us feel welcome!We were only in the rooms for a short while (take a quick nap) before continuing on our journey. It was a great place for that.

Rooms are a bit dated. But they were clean.

Room has a private bathroom. The bed had blankets and à pillow.

Still no ligjt bulbs in lamp, leaky sink. No Coffee, no breakfast available. Hotel is in industrial section of town. Pavement every. Nothing do do or see. During evening there are no close by contingence store or food in walkable distance. Alors when you rent online you are not warned you need to dish out an extra 100$ for deposit upon arrival. They also post up signs about workers deals for rooms. They Never have à y available, but sign stars un?! Tv has local Freeman charnels only.

it is a simple motel located in a retail area, eating and shopping options are multiple within easy walking distance. the physical appearance of the motel is not at all impressive.

it was a holiday week end but it was way overpriced, nonetheless, I was happy to have the reservation ahead of time.

Bathtub drain very slow to drain, toilet seat broke, light by bed broke, overpriced.

Location is fabulous. Proximity of everything even by foot.

Strong Smoke Smell in the room. Cigarettes on the floor outside and air conditioning odors. I went to Walmart to buy spray. 2 nights. The second night was more decent due to the air freshener.

Not much to like. The place wasn’t very clean. Old and the bathroom was very rundown.

1. Location is good, closer to Walmarts and other major stores2. Staff was so nice and cooperative. Appreciate it

1. The hotel doesn’t have basic facilities, like slippers ( will people bring their own slippers to stay in a hotel room for which they pay 150$ a night?2. And no water (drinking) which is given by every single hotel across the world. 3. Poor lighting, interior grey paint makes the room like hell. And the lighting is from late 19th century. Miserably poor4. Shower gel and shampoo? Only a small soap woth shampoo in sachet, come on are well in late 90s, who use bar soaps in 2023???? It really sucks5. I will not recommend, find better options with much lower cost

1) Value.A basic motel for $153. Was the cheapest we found but still overpriced. Stayed in a hotel in NB with pool, hot tub and hot breakfast for only $14 more. (Including tax)2) Didn't even have an ice machine.3) Not necessarily important, but the front desk person didn't know basic english. I would think working in the travel industry with potential out of province guests, there would have been a little more knowledge of english.

The staff is very good. The room is so spacious and clean.

The bed is creaking.

Best value for money on the night we booked. Motel Populaire is located in a convenient location, close to main road, town and shops.

The price.

A/C did not work. Was very hot in the room.

Not enjoyable

The room was clean, however upon further inspection, there was dirt under the mattresses, and the bed sheets were wrinkled as if they hadn't been changed. We had already paid for the room, and had been traveling for over 10hours from the east coast, so changing hotels wasn't an option. We slept on top of the blankets with our own blankets and pillows. Mattresses and box springs were very old and discolored. And hotel was in a sketchy part of town. We were not comfortable there at all. We stayed only to sleep, and got out of there as soon as we woke up.

The unit appeared clean. It was roomy and comfortable. There was a place to take our dogs for a walk. It was off the highway, so there was minimal noise.

Unfortunately, there was a previous users boxer shorts on the bathroom floor that made me nervous of the cleanliness, however, they were kind of hidden and easily missed by the cleaning staff. I have seen this happen at other hotels but it did dampen my appreciation of the unit. Management was upset by the presence of them and very apologetic.
