Le Deauville Motel

Unassuming motel with friendly staff, hot shower, clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Furniture in good condition. Great that the room had small fridge, microwave and coffee maker (no coffee or filters, but I brought some)My room was quiet - no noise from neighbours. Easy checkin.

Staff were very friendly and did their best to resolve the issues

1) when we checked in the service person was still cleaning our room2) we had to change the room as the toilet flush was not working3) the keys for the second room we got did not work

The breakfast was a great edition as we are stopping here on our way home from Quebec. In the middle of our driveway, we did some sightseeing an ice-skating. The area was an excellent location to get back onto the highway and also stopping in the town to have dinner and walk around.

Clerk at check in was super friendly and helpful. The room has everything you need for a short stay and was very comfortable, with a desk for work and a sofa for relaxing. Despite being off a main road I found the hotel very quiet and did not hear other guests or outside noises.

The staff was awesome!! The bed sheets, looked clean. Yje breakfast were good.

The place was very dirty.The shower walls were full of mildew, totally inacceptable!

The location is perfect for our trip from Montreal to Quebec city. Breakfast was excellent for a morning quick fresh, and we were able to start early and headed North.

Some noise from the adjacent room when the guests arrived late at night.

Everything was exceptional for the price I paid. Good location, spacious and clean rooms, dog friendly, big outside lawn with tables and benches, they even serve breakfast.

Easy access, professional staff, excellent breakfast setting.

The family suite was very spacious and comfortable

The rooms need to be freshened. There was a stale left over smoke smell in the room not that anyone had been smoking but you smelt it when you entered the roomIt is an older motel and maybe needs some fresh paint or deep cleaning to get rid of the smell

Room was spacious and clean. Staff in breakfast room super friendly. Basic but varied breakfast in a spotlessly clean dining room. A good overnight stop from Montreal on the way to Quebec City.

Unfortunately we had an issue with the toilet not flushing properly which remained unresolved during our stay. A shame because otherwise everything was fine.

Spacious room.

Needs renovating. Especially the bathroom. A/C didn't work (the wiring was exposed, and to me, it seemed pretty dangerous).

Nothing wrong with this 2- star motel except, comparatively, the room rate a bit on the high side for a room that has all its doors appearing unsafe or not properly locking. The staff were willing to assist if needed. The included breakfast was simple.

The fact that the door to the room and the doors interconnected with other rooms, did not appear to be secure and firm locking.

Family room was spacious and comfortable

The room was quite tired, and there was a lingering odour of cigarettes (probably from people smoking outside). But considering what we paid it was all fine

Clean, comfortable and easily accessible. The breakfast was fine, continental style and included.

It could use some maintenance. The grout on bathroom tiles showed evidence of discolouration, perhaps mold, which could be dealt with. A few throw pillows would have made the couch more comfortable.

Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Free Continental breakfast which was basic but good.

The hotel was very old. The rooms were dingy and old. Not nicely decorated .Outside the sidewalks and stairs were cracked . It was fine for a quick overnight but certainly not worth 250.00 a night and not an 8 rating. 2 stars

You can tell that there are tourists for one nights stays and also it is where workers stay when working in the area. Has a nice grass area, which was great for a walk with the dog! Overall for the price it is a good spot. Lots of restaurants, Walmart extra within walking distance for grabbing a few things! The shower was fantastic.
