    Pros +

    • very quiet
    • It’s older but clean and comfortable
    • The room was exceptionally clean and in good condition, including the all-important bathroom. There were plenty of nice, thick towels. The bed was very comfortable.Parking just outside the door made loading and unloading the car much easier. The onsite restaurant was convenient. There's an awesome breakfast place just down the street called l'Oeufrier. The beautiful municipal park is just a few blocks away - a perfect place for a relaxing stroll after a busy day.

    Cons -

    • bed was very low and not overly comfortable. My husband has a bad back and it was difficult for him to get in and out of bed.
    • Could be updated.
    • The hot water was slow to appear. However, after that it was hot and plentiful. A ventilation fan in the bathroom would have been nice.My room faced the busy street which was noisy at times. My home is similar so it didn't bother me at all. If you are sensitive to noise, request a room away from the front.

    Easy to get in

Air conditioner was extremely loud. The bed was very uncomfortable.

the room lighting was insufficient. I found it difficult to read under the existing lighting. Otherwise the room was quite comfortable. The parking lot was mostly empty during our 2 day stay. We enjoyed the restaurant very much. The waitress, who spoke English was very helpful and friendly. Yes, we would stay here again in the future.

as above, the room lighting was lacking. It was difficult to read by that lighting.

The cleaning less of the room. Impeccable. You have everything. Perfect for one night stay. Note to the manager; please clean that phone we use at the reception. Thank you!

Near Perfect, good price quality match. Double the size of that tiny TV and I'd give it top score!

    Tiny old TV screen

It’s off the beaten path while still being close to lots. The room was updated very nicely and quiet too. Restaurant on site… omg their poutine.

Doors only had the door knob lock on them. I just like extra security.

Amazing value. Clean, comfortable bed, within walking distance to downtown.

Very clean and comfortable. Like the restaurant next door . Really recommend this place.

Easy to get near all places I had to be at.

For about $110 USD this place was okay for a one night sleep over. The room was the size of a small warehouse but was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also large with good facilities. The sofa, however, was grossly worn.

This is a self-service motel connected to a restaurant. You enter the reception area and pick up a phone on the desk to checkin and find out your room number and key code. Even though it says on the Booking.com site that English and French service is available 24/7 this was not the case for us. We only speak English and the person who answered the phone only French. I was lucky the restaurant was still open because I had to go find someone who was bilingual, interrupt his meal, and ask him to come help me get checked in. Like all the friendly citizens of Quebec we met he graciously helped me out. However, I was embarrassed, tired, and frustrated. This could have ended badly if the restaurant was closed. Also, please consider a throw to cover your worn furniture (see photo).

Service was great, the room was very clean and quiet. Coffee, Wifi, toiletries were included.

The lady was quite friendly. The location was good and price ok. We had a fair supper in the restaurant attached to the hotel.

The room could use some paint and finishing. The bed slept ok but was creaky whenever I moved in it. Bathroom bit small. The halls were dated and a maze.

There was a great pizza deal at the restaurant, the room was clean and spacious and we could charge our e-bike in the room. We were ground floor, so it was easy to roll the bikes in for night.

The bed was not in good condition. It simply sank away, with no support at all. Very uncomfortable.

    7ChrisPosted on: 8-16-2023

    Staff was excellent

No breakfast. Rear decking on top level a bit dicy.

    10JacobPosted on: 8-7-2023

Very clean, well maintained, worth the 15 minutes trip off the TransCanada. Like both outside and inside access to room.

    5JessicaPosted on: 8-6-2023

Beds were comfortable. Cheapest decent motel we could find.

Floor was dirty and smelled like feet. Fridge wasnt on/didn't work.Room on ground floor facing the road and parking lot. The bed was half a foot away from window which blocked the air conditioning, and we also had random men coming up to our window putting out cigarettes in an ashtray so we had to keep blinds.closed during the day.
