The Cove Inn

Location and staffing are at the top of the list for choosing this hotel, together with the convenience of the dining room. The included hot breakfast was above par. Thank you to all.

We love the old ambiance of the Inn. The location is perfect for day tripping or a slip for your boat on the Rideau.

Need some WD40 for the bathroom doors!

Need to have a breakfast ,nothing fancy but basic maybe locally supplied ? I believe they're missing out on an opportunity

Wonderful people and very inviting space.

It’s quiet and low key.

The staff were excellent and the food was delicious. The room was lovely.

The bed was terrible !!!!!! It is a very old mattress that has no support. It rolls into the middle which was very uncomfortable.

We love the location, the live music and the amazing food! Our room was cozy, clean and beautiful.The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond in every way! We will be back!

This is a beautiful and well maintained inn. We enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful dinner with excellent service. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the restaurant.

One of the staff wasn’t super nice unfortunately, we felt the same way about her on our last stay.But no big deal, that’s life.The rest of the staff were awesome, like over the top welcoming and nice, including the cleaning crew.

A cute little place. Clean and close to the water.

I don't like the continental breakfast ( yogurt, muffin, orange and juice). Could have offered warm breakfast inclusive with room.

Breakfast was left in the fridge as the restaurant was closed when I visited.

The staff made special accommodations for our needs and were always extremely pleasant about any requests we had. It was a cozy any enjoyable stay

Only that they did not open the patio on our second day. They said because it rained in the morning. Although it was dry by noon. It was a beautiful day and would have liked to have sat outside.

Location, facilities (grounds with Gazebo). Evening music program was excellent.Lobby and front porch were nice areas to relax.

Food quality could improve.

Spacious, stylish and comfortable room in a beautiful, characterful hotel. Staff were all really friendly and the live music was fantastic. Fab location on the water in a cute village. We love visiting The Cove and will be back for sure.

Muffins, yoghurt, juice and tea/ coffee provided in the room but we were disappointed this seems to have replaced the buffet breakfast in the restaurant.

The continental breakfast left in our fridge was what we liked the least. We would have preferred a hot breakfast in the dining room.

Everything in one place

If you are going for a romantic night away, don't waste your time staying there for supper. Go out in town. No ambience for a romantic supper. Also in the front bedrooms you hear a fan come on every minute for about 30 seconds. Very noisy.

Location. Great spot overlooking lake.

A bit dated, but assume that is the way the owners want it.
