This was a shared location for unit 2 Manuela. No privacy at all as the property manager is always in the kitchen and living area with his kids and their belongings. So all we got is a small room to be confined with. we left the hotel ending up not stayin

The smell is strong and bad. The apartment is good, the problem is the neighbor (upstairs). They turn off the router(internet) until contacting the owner. They do a lot of noise overnight - moving furniture, jumping, yelling ... you can not sleep well.

AC filter needs cleaning! Bathroom door close easier and easier to lock! Parking was NOT ideal !

Literally nothing

This is not a suite, it’s a basement apartment. The neighbours started screaming at 3am and didn’t stop til 6:00. Very dirty bathroom.

The outside apartment the whole way was dirty nobody to clean the outside when you book the place says private not shared but once get there you find other people stays in one day one of people who booked the place locked us outside outside the house didn’t want us to go in till we had to contact the host for us to get in the house

The room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a short weekend stay. The shared washroom was clean and well-maintained, and the overall place had a peaceful vibe.

1) it says private suite after paid it was shared amenities than contact booking .com and try to contact you no respond and 2nd attempt, message says it is shared and sorry for confusion.-3rd night couple came also they thought private suite and shocked to see me and they were not happy at all therefore they deliberately stay vary late drinking, loud,smoking cannot sleep that night well and also basement people even bang the wall at midnight as well and used all our onion, milk and vegetable.basically I paid for the price that they didn't get private suites3rd day same night, couple were in the room and new tenant gentle walked in shocked to see me that he also booked for private suite and he was so angry and later couple came joined the conversation with French and wasn't happy at all and finally I noticed he left middle of night without staying but couple stayed the Fri-Sat because they came to just to have fun for 2 nights and no way to go I guess.The points is property details are misinformed and therefore seems 3 of us cheated. I was absolutely ok staying but when I hear this 2 other tenant same issue therefore I have to write this review no choice.Kitchen is good for use but no paper towel and No other things to cleanup with kitchen.2) finally Saturday night another tenant gentleman came and very quite and humble guy but all night did the laundry front of my room and cannot sleep.so I think there is NO such CLEAR HOUSE RULLS mentioned because all night doing laundry, smoking and noisy all night.3) there was shortage of toilet paper and very wise to keep extra toilet paper somewhere laundry area.

They lied to us because we booked it as our private unit but we surprised there are another 2 people living with us in the same unit

The host is very accommodating and cooperative from the time I booked the place until we checked out. She forwarded all the information that we need and answer all our questions.

Where do I begin: - Unclear accommodations, photos and description were misleading - Pet fee disclosed until after booking - non refundable- Says “pet friendly” but needed to keep dogs in the tiny bedroom- Check in 4pm, cleaning staff arrived to clean after the last guests at 445 so we had un unclean room and had to leave (cleaning staff said the last person was sick which is why they were late, we were not informed by hosts)- BUGS EVERYWHERERequest to cancel denied - HOT - no screen on window, no fan- The tub is very slippery and the curtain smelled so bad of body odour I had to try and hold my breath during my shower- Toilet seat broken and slips when you sit on it- Bed springs broken on one side - needed to avoid it or I’d roll off

I feel scammed and extremely disappointed with this property.

1/5 – Extremely Disappointing, Avoid This PlaceWe booked JstLikeHome – Serenity Suites & Guesthouse for August 14–16, 2025, but the property was completely unsuitable and misleading.•No proper air conditioning: The listing made it seem that all units had AC, but in reality, there was only one unit in the living room. Bedrooms had none, making it unbearable during summer. We booked two rooms, yet comfort was not provided.•Unhygienic bedding: One pillowcase smelled strongly of sweat and was visibly dirty (we have photo proof). The host only offered to change linens the next day, which is unacceptable.•Unprofessional host response: Despite raising our concerns immediately, the host refused to issue a refund. They kept repeating that AC in the living room “meets the listing,” ignoring the fact that the accommodation was not livable.•False advertising: The photos and descriptions do not match reality. Comfort and cleanliness standards were not met.•Scam-like behavior: Even though we did not stay at the property and secured alternative lodging (at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel), the host still refused to provide a full refund. Booking.com is now investigating due to the host’s refusal to cooperate.This property is unprofessional, misleading, and refuses to take accountability. Do not be fooled by the listing. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere, you will regret booking here.

Clean and neat. Easier online check in option and host has been given instructions in detail for smooth check-in

Parking lanes should have been painted, other person didn’t parked properly leaving us tight space to park our vehicle

We drove to this sketchy area where this apartment locates, which we thought it was fine since we only stay for one night. But the moment my family and I entered the apartment, it was full of a mixture smell of mold and chemical, we thought it could be ventilated, but after we opened the windows and doors for quite a while, the smell did not go away. We found the stove was covered with food scraps, washer has someone's dirty clothes and hair, roaches and rodent hairs found in several holes on the wall, black mold in the washroom, human body fluid in the shower. The bed sheets are greasy to touch. My toddler refused to stay in as she was starting to experience discomfort at some point. In the end, we did not stay at the property due to health concerns, but hit the road to the next stop. I wish I believed the other people's reviews when I first booked this apartment. My recommendation is DO NOT STAY at this property. The owner and booking platform will not refund you for such horrible service.

btw, I forgot to mention only one car is allowed to park at this property, it has to be parked behind the van because the bottom right parking was reserved. If you have more than 1 car, then you will have to park else where, the street has maximum of 6 hr. Also the area is sketchy which we did not feel safe to park our second car on the street.

I didn’t like anything about this property, I didn’t even stay for the reservation period, we left as soon as we could and didn’t care about them refusing the refund as they lied about everything that was in the ad

DON’T TRUST ANY DETAILS ON THE AD!! Starting by the host who was so rude on the phone and didn’t address any of our concerns in a respectful manner, they sent us many messages before we arrived so it was so overwhelming and we arrived to find out that the bedroom doesn’t have air conditioning as advertised and yet you can’t open the window because there is no screen, the bathroom was shared with 4 other rooms, they said 0 smoking policy where other people who live there were smoking in the common areas (see pics of cigarette on the desk), they said no noise after 10 pm and people were having the TV on very loudly until 2 am, there is no housekeeping garbage is on the floor (see pics), pillows are so thin and only one pillow per person.. we had a lady knocked our bedroom door at 11:45 pm, because she was lost in the building without any help from the host and she was knocking door for someone to help her finding her room, the building has 3 units but with your keypad code you can enter them all.. so unsafe and unsecured.. locations isn’t good either.. close to nothing.. I have been using booking all around the world and this is by far my worst experience, we left after only 1 night, just until we secured another place, they completely refused to issue any refund but for our health and safety, we decided to double book instead of staying at that horrible place

I had one of the worst experiences ever with JustLikeHome Airbnb. The room was extremely stuffy, with no ventilation at all. It felt suffocating inside. The doors didn’t work properly, some couldn’t even close, and the whole apartment was in a very dirty and unhygienic condition. It’s honestly not suitable for any guest – this place should not be listed on Airbnb.

I couldn’t even sleep in that room. It was so uncomfortable and unlivable that I had to leave late at night and go pay for a hotel out of pocket, just to get some rest. I reached out to them, but they refused to refund me a single cent. It’s a total waste of money, and very disrespectful to guests.

Spacious clean and tidy, location is also near to most of the famous places

AC duct in main bedroom was not proper due to which room was very heated as hot air was flowing inside only. Except that everything was outstanding
