The best was that the room was not broken into considering all the electronic door locks used the same 4 digit code. I asked host to change my lock and they DID NOT!

Not the constant police and ambulances,not the homeless on the sidewalk/bus shelter, not the cockroach in the bath tub,not the toilet leaking dirty water into and onto the floor, and not the safety of having all electronic door locks have same code.

Great little place !

Location is fairly central and parking is included.

Small cosmetic things could have made the facilities much nicer. A nicer bathroom and kitchen decor and intentional staging would make the space much more inviting.

Bathroom and kitchen are clean, but I didn't like to share them with other visitors. My complains are addressed to Booking. com. Hosts did a great job

No heat, and a lot noisy it’s risky to stay because heat pumps are right around the room

Back steps weren’t lit, was slippery and hard to see when we arrived. There was also 3 full bags of garbage in the entr

The location conveniently had a Shopper's Drug Mart, convenience store, bagel bakery, several restaurants, and gas station nearby. This made it easy to pick up quick necessities and have a nice meal.The amenities provided were convenient and you could make a meal in the suite using a toaster oven, kettle, and/or microwave. The kitchenette had sufficient dishes for a good number with a cute table with stools and a low couch. Nice sizeable sink with fine tasting water! Shampoo and conditioner were available in large bottles. Towels were provided with hosts asking about if refills were needed, which was convenient. It does appear to be an older apartment with some parts like drawers not being straight in the counter but that does not affect a stay at a location and the price is just amazing. It was very quiet still with a quick air conditioning/temperature system making it comfortable. Overall, comfortable and greatly priced with great amenities and parking. Having a separate bedroom and two pin pad doors to enter both help feel secure. I would absolutely book again.

The bathroom could get quite hot and steamy due to not having a fan, so opening the window could help or a ceiling fan getting implemented. The towels may have been air dried and held a bit of a damp smell. Anyone sensitive to scent should maybe bring their own. Noting that dust around the ceiling vents could be dealt with for the sake of those with dust allergies, including in the bathroom. This is Suite 3.Some appearance matters (older things not looking as fresh like shower curtain, though I don't think there was dirtiness) and towel scent are not to everyone's liking.

Quiet place, no any noise, good location close to downtown.

It was a bit cold in a room, the bed linen is not clean, wi-fi connection is weak.

It has confortable room, and shower. KITCHEN has cofee and tee machine, toaster and coffee, with close markets, bus stop

It hasn't stove. The loft looks old and particularly grilles for air conditioning were dirty, so We were worried for the air quality we are breathing

The unit have lots of potential. The beds are comfortable.

Overall it looks dirty. There are stains on the furniture, the walls have dirt on some places (not regular scuff marks). The window in one room needs replacement- when the wind blows it rattles so hard you can hear it from the other room, disturbs your sleep!

Great property. Well maintained.

Some cheap-out with maintenance and toiletries.

Oh my god. This was literally the worst decision in my entire adult life of choosing places to stay at. So let’s start from the beginning. I was coming from Toronto via train and got to Ottawa pretty early. I knew this was going to happen so indicated this on the registration form they sent me and lo and behold a few days before my arrival I got an link where I could “book” an early check-in “as early as” 1 PM for 50 CAD. We are talking about a place that has door codes so literally a hands-off situation. This was supposed to have been a red flag but I thought I would just wait at a nearby park and study since the reason I came to Ottawa was to take an exam. Anyways I got there at 4PM exactly. As for the location - It’s not exactly a safe neighborhood. On my walk to the apartment I had seen numerous people knocked out by drugs, I had even seen what seemed like a drug negotiation. Otherwise it’s not too far away from the downtown areas so it’s got at least something going for it. Otherwise it’s situated right next to a very-very busy road with cars constantly honking. The extra? It’s right above an Indian restaurant so sounds AND smells are all there. The apartment itself is a mess. The walls are cracked here and there, there’s mold all over the place - they have a ventilation system but all it really does is make the air dry. The couch looked extremely uninviting, dirty - it looked as if some of the springs were going to penetrate the textile. The kitchen was disgusting - the dishes, the utensils, the fridge were all dirty, greasy - the sponge looked like it was a few years old so I had to do the dishes by rubbing them with my hands. Yes, the trash was taken out every day by someone. The bathroom - the shared bathroom. God I really hope I didn’t get anything there. It was disgusting. Dirty. Moldy. Tiles coming off, furniture falling apart. The bathtub is in a pretty bad shape.

The location was good for us since we have no car, restaurants and stores were at walking distance.

There was no stove but a dirty hole where it used to be. Two-burner hot plate was so worn out that I did not dare to use it. It was replaced but with one single burner. Not much chance to do cooking. Two electricity outlets did not work so with the single extension chord (to reach another outlet) one had to plug and unplug the hotplate, the toaster, the hot water pot all the time. We were brought two small folding tables by a friend so we managed to use the kitchen little bit better as the counter space was minimal.

Price was good compared to other options in Ottawa and location was OK. Apart from that not much positive to say unfortunately.

When we booked the place the advert said "whole property" which it clearly was not when we turned up and other people were staying there in other rooms. The first night the young couple were fine and kept to themselves but the second night a large group of people spent the whole night banging on doors and making noise, including banging on our door several times. With other people like this staying in the property the shared spaces are basically not usable. So its just a very small quite hot room.

Perhaps it’s good for a single individual who doesn’t mind to share the washer and kitchen

I visited this hotel in August, but the top rooms were so hot that it was unbearable to stay. The air conditioning didn’t work well, and the bathroom lock didn’t work either. I ended up leaving to find accommodation at another hotel.

The location

The kitchen area was so hot and the ac didn’t cool the place down . The fridge looked like it had not been cleaned in a few months . The floors were gross I had to swept the moment we walked in .

Don't recommend it.

Dirty room. Only one tea cup. No microwave.

The picture was a mismatch from what was described. There was no burner as shown in the picture, but a stove top that had to be kept on a surface to cook. The temperature was really hot as there was no central A.C but a unit A.C in the room. We reached out to the host and she would not respond until I mentioned I wanted to check out. She then sent a serviceman who confirmed there was no central A.C. A 2 nos of the unit should be put there in summer as it was really hot and we never enjoyed our sleep at all. We even requested to be taken to another of their apartment and she would not bulge.

The sofa was bad and we needed to be careful anytime we were going to sit on it.

There is nothing to like about this property. Had it booked for 4 night, after 1st packed up and got out.

This property is a death trap waiting to happen. Got there after dark, stairs to 2nd floor are not lit. Wooden stairs are broken, wife just about went through. Got up to suit, it’s an old building, if it catches fire it’s going to go up fast. They’ve removed the smoke detectors, you’ll get no warning. There’s more, wish I could post the pictures. I’ve contacted Booking.com to advise, hope they discontinue sending clients to this place.
