Pros +
- Close to everything, walking distance. The staff and residence were nice. The hotel had air conditioning. Shared bathrooms, a kitchen, dining and lounge area. Clean beds, no bugs. There were 6 showers on our floor and a gallery on the roof.
- It was not expensive and was available when everything else was unavailable. The host was polite and helpful, he seems to be the sole caretaker - it's his place. Checkout was nonexistent - just leave a key in a box. Modern chipped locks on the room doors.
- Nothing. We didn't even stay, we found a different hotel where we felt safer.
Cons -
- One employee running the hotel, he wasn¿t able to be at reception at all times. We didn¿t like to share the bathrooms. Everyone had acces to the kitchen, but not everyone cleaned up after themselves. Cleaning the kitchen was the guests responsibility
- A really rough situation; the building is old, bathroom and shower are shared, down a hallway. TINY rooms, and sparse furnishings that don't match. Some would find this place scary! Some old paint and so on. It's not dirty but very unattractive.
- The pictures misrepresent how rough this hotel is (the pictures make it look nicer). There are holes in the walls, electrical wiring sticking out, awful lighting. The bed felt uncomfortable and we felt creeped out. They refused a refund and we didn't stay

DO NOT LET THIS HOTEL CHARGE YOU FOR A SECURITY DEPOSIT!!! I booked 3 rooms (200 deposit each) which was a $600 security deposit total. Never got it back! I have emailed and got no response, when I call and explain they hang up on you. DONT STAY HERE!!!
location
grubby, no light from window, noise from neighbouring room, rarely anyone on reception. overall rather depressing.
The rooms are not as advertised. Gross communal showers. Very dark and unwelcoming Owner of the building claims you did damages after stay and takes your money. Avoid this place the owner ia a thief.
This is not a hotel. The room were not as advertised. There was no bathroom in the room. It was a tiny with a miny fridge with a tube tv ontop of i, no cable. There was grime all over the walls and floor and stains on the mattress. He also stole 200$
Nice thick robes. Comfortable pillows. Nice bed size.
The price was too high. Outdated microwave very slow to heat. Too many stairs. Shower didn't work. Location homeless person standing in front of hotel asking for money.
It was dirt cheap.
No parking, was only given one set of keys, could not enter hotel before 2:30, sketchy drug addict types loitering nearby the hotel, very shabby appearance in hallways and lobby.
So dirty; the bathrooms, pillows in the room, common areas, would not recommend or stay again. The complimentary breakfast is granola bars. A hostel would be better if looking for a cheap place to stay a night in downtown Toronto.
Clean and the staff was excellent.
Hot water in the shower was warm and cold in an instant. A little uncomfortable when cold water hits you in the shower.
