The staff was friendly.
My partner got ill and, sadly, we never got to the hotel; my credit card has been charged; if there is any way I could get a refund, in full or even part, that would be so appreciated. My partner was so looking forward to seeing "Guys and Dolls"

It looks like it was newly renovated.
The smell in the room was not good, and the breakfast had no variety and one of the machines for waffle doesn't work, tv doesn't work
The motel is right next to Hwy. #401 and is easy to get to. It is very near many restaurants and shopping venues. The breakfast was good, but the breakfast room, on a lower level, was very cold in the morning. One of the exits from the motel takes you

Room was well equipped and clean. Did not like inability to run heating/cooling system on fan only. Not able to create white nouse , so exterior and hall noises were heard.
As of 2024, this is the newest hotel in the St. Jacobs area, so the rooms are very clean and modern. The gym has very high-end equipment, including the earliest functional trainer I've used in a gym. Continental breakfast is included.
Really enjoyed the good variety for breakfast. Excellent for a 2 & 4 year old. Pool was nice to have for the kids to enjoy after a long day too!

Top Tips
- Booking 3-6 months ahead of the Stratford Festival (April-October) can save you 20-40% compared to last-minute rates, as prices often rise by 30-50% near show dates. Explore flexible date options and check for festival-aligned packages at major hotels.
- Expect a 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and parking fees (often $15 CAD per night) on hotel bills across Ontario. To avoid surprises, request a fully itemized bill at reservation - top hotel brands typically provide detailed quotes upfront.
- Downtown hotels place you within a 5-10 minute walk of Stratford Festival venues, though rates are typically 20-30% higher than outskirts options (which can cost 15-25% less). If you prefer central stays but are sensitive to noise, check for hotels offering soundproof rooms or wellness amenities.
- If you’re working remotely, downtown hotels generally provide Wi-Fi speeds of 50-100 Mbps; in the outskirts, speeds may drop to 20-50 Mbps. When booking, specify your connectivity needs - some hotels offer business suites or premium Wi-Fi.
- To secure accessible rooms with step-free access, request at least 2-4 weeks ahead - 60-70% of Stratford hotels offer this, but older properties may require ramps. Check for extra features like visual alarms or roll-in showers, which are standard in newer hotels.
- To avoid dynamic currency conversion fees of 2-3%, use ATMs from major Canadian banks such as RBC or TD. Many top hotels also feature in-lobby ATMs or can direct you to the nearest branch for Canadian Dollar withdrawals.
- With winter lows reaching -10°C to -20°C (December-February), confirm your hotel has insulated windows and efficient heating, found in about 80% of Stratford listings. For extra comfort, look for hotels offering heated pools or in-room climate control.
- About 5-10% of Stratford hotels hold Green Key certification, reflecting energy-efficient and water-saving practices. Ask about green amenities such as in-room recycling or low-flow fixtures when booking.
