Located 10 minutes’ drive from Bingeman’s Park in Ontario, Canada, this Kitchener hotel offers on-site dining, an indoor pool and a gym. All comfortably furnished rooms include free Wi-Fi. Each room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Kitchener features cable TV with extended channels. Boasting rich wood furnishings and plush bedding, all rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities. Complete with a grand stone fireplace, Arbor Kitchen and Bar serves a variety of American fare including succulent steak, seafood and pasta. An extensive dessert menu is also offered at the restaurant. Guests can enjoy a visit to St. Jacob's Country 25 minutes’ drive from the hotel. The Waterloo Children's Museum is 5.5 mi away. John C. Pros +
- The lobby and facilities were quite nice, and it is a relatively new building.
- Location and the fact that they had a pool
- Clean and quiet. Warm cookies were a bonus!
Cons -
- Customer service is awful. I ordered room service 3x but had to pick up from reception. Very poor communication (i.e. charging things to card without telling me). Nobody asked how my stay was, or cared about customer experience. Not worth the money.
- The pool was not open
