There was nothing good about this hotel I didn’t even stay the night. The room was absolutely disgusting & I wouldn’t help them advertise. They are a disgrace. I never seen a hotel as filthy at this. You drive up & you know it’s bad.
Located in the center of North Bay
Very central in North Bay and well suited for most downtown activities (cafes, pubs, music, parades, etc.)

Top Tips
- Book hotels 2-3 months in advance for summer stays (July-August); rates can surge 20-30% ($50-$100 CAD per night) due to festivals and lake activities. Consider joining hotel loyalty programs or checking advance-purchase rates for savings during July-August.
- Factor in Ontario's 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) on all hotel bills; this adds approximately $15-$30 CAD per night to your total cost. Most prices shown online exclude taxes, so check your booking summary for final total.
- Select hotels within 1-2 km of Waterfront Park for convenient 10-15 minute walks to amenities and enhanced safety with street lighting. If step-free access is needed, request an accessible room and confirm direct routes when booking.
- Verify Wi-Fi speeds for remote work; while most hotels offer 50-100 Mbps, plan for potential winter outages due to storms and request a speed test upon arrival. Confirm availability of wired connections or backup Wi-Fi options at check-in for added reliability.
- Prepare for winter power disruptions by choosing hotels with backup generators during December-February when temperatures average -10 to -20°C. Confirm generator backup or emergency heating policies before arrival.
- Use Canadian ATMs from local banks like RBC to avoid Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) fees, typically under $2 CAD per transaction, saving $5-$10 CAD per use versus hotel kiosks. Most ATMs are available within hotel lobbies or within a 500 m walk in central North Bay.
