The king bed was comfortable

The shower head was missing a piece and it was shooting water in a straight line and it hurt to shower and made knots in my hair. There was a window open with an extension cord coming from outside plugged in our lamp hanging across the room. Rusty sink.

It was clean

No coffee maker , and it needs to be updated

Pet friendly no questions asked

Unless your working in Englehart it's a bit of a travel every morning and night to Temiskaming Shores and back.

left the second I got there. Dirty and falling apart. Carpet was boggy, walls had holes, floor falling apart. Dirt and stains on floor and pillows. I actually doubted if the room had even been cleaned. Haunted vibes in the hallway, no deadbolt on door. Weird smell

Water flow poor. No hot water. Electrical outlets are arcing. No heat.

Garbage in hail a really poor towels.

Its outdated and old but the owners keep it clean and are very welcoming and inviting

It was convenient in proximity to my needs. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. There wasn’t any musty smell to the room.

Was told there was no heat in the room (shut off) but was asked if I’d like a portable heater. I said yes immediately even though I was asked to check the room temperature first (it was a chilly day). I asked for it to be delivered to the room. The heater was left outside the room and I didn’t go to the room for a couple of hours after check-in. I wondered what could have happened had someone else walked away with the heater.The motel didn’t have locked exterior doors and anyone could have entered the building’s hall to the rooms. The only thing stopping anyone from entering the rooms was a wooden door and locking key card mechanism. No extra security locks present.I’m not sure there was hot water as I didn’t have any from the sink tap. I never tried a shower because of this. The motel was pretty vacant which may have caused this.

Location was convenient on our travels

Beds were sunken in, should have been replaced prob 5 years ago. Extremely hot in room, had to keep window open and air conditioner on even with temperatures of minus 15C outside. Front "reception" area was just the convenience store, female owner/staff cold, rude and short with us as customers. She was not empathetic to our needs. Hockey team of male teenagers, partying in parkinglot by the room windows and halls till 130am.

New "Canadian" ownership ruins the best of places.

Everything. Absoutley the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel/motel. I originally called and asked if they had any rooms available, got the room details and price from the owner and found everything online to be cheaper than what she said, so I went ahead and booked through a 3rd party. After driving 8+ hours and arriving at 930pm I just wanted somewhere to crash. I was told my friend and I had to wait approx 5 min while "they switched the TV's around" so I had a working TV. After 15 minutes I walked in and said I was ready to just go to bed, they insisted to get me a working TV, switching me from 2 different rooms than the one they had originally booked me into. It was now getting past 10 and they kept insisting that the previous people messed with the TV, even though this was 3 different rooms. They told me they couldn't get the TV repair man in lately so they decided to wait till their only customer showed up. While that was happening a smoke detector with a low battery kept going off outside of my room, I mentioned them fixing it and was told not to worry because it was in the hall not in my room, that got fixed only after them making a fuss about it and me threatening to take care of it myself. They only give you 1 towel each for a room with 2 people. When I asked for 2 extra towels I was told "I could get them tomorrow after I used the ones I had". Sorry I'm not wiping my upstairs with the same towel I wiped off my downstairs. I literally had to tell them they had a camera facing my room and could watch me sneak all my friends in. The door has no peep hole and is also only a digital deadbolt, meaning your card can get you in, you can "lock" the door but they still have a master card which can get in locked rooms. There is no physical deadbolt. Towels, TV and smoke detector were all fixed only after arguing, the owners giving me pure attitude and being extremely rude.

The parking lot was easy to park in as no one wanted to stay at this motel and instead chose the one 9 km down the road

Took 25 minutes to.get checked in even though we were the only customers, the sheets had tiny blood stains on them when we arrived and also the smoke alarms are also more than likely not real.

I would only ever stay at this motel again if it was work related .

There was no house keeping for the week I was there . The qarbage cans were overflowing . Charged top dollar for minimal service

Terrible customer service. The front desk agent acted like he didn't want to be there. Another customer walked in and was informed that the front desk agent was the restaurant staff as well! So a big restaurant on site and no one else to cook or serve??? The rooms were straight out of the 70s. Duct tape around a wall air conditioner. As for Cable TV ? Maybe 6 channels which were infomercials and french. Hardly any lighting and the bed was almost worn out. I would have rather slept in the back of my car

Gross place, stains and garbage in hallways and room, tv remote was vile, hot water barely worked, old floss found in room, sink was broken and dirty, I felt truly unsafe, cigarette butts found beside bed, I couldn’t walk on the floor without shoes I felt so unclean; mold on sink taps, stains on towels, couldn’t lock door behind me. Would never return.

The carpet in my room was stained and had a huge burn in it. There were only two lamps in the room and one wasn’t working so it was pretty dark. Something I found extremely odd and concerning was there was no security latch on the door to my room. Having no way to secure the door from the inside of the room seemed extremely odd. Yes the door locked when closed but there was no chain or bar to latch for security. I would never recommend this place to women for that reason alone never mind the carpets.

The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was effective.

The whole place is shabby and under staffed. Reception guy checked in two families while I waited, then seemed confused and couldn't find my reservation even after I showed my confirmation. Then he just left me standing there for 20 minutes. It was bizarre. The hallway had a horrible smell, and I felt like leaving but I was exhausted from 12 hours driving.

Room decor, broken bathroom sink, bathroom out of date, appalling fixtures.

Bedding was clean.

Carpet very stained. No window screens. AC was on or off. No remote for tv.
