Dirty walls. Doors. Light switches. Old torn furniture. Needs an update

Parking and ground floor, beds.

Shower was too slow, limited breakfast option and rooms are not fully clean may be due to old property.

Friendly staff.

The heaters could not get the room warmer than 19°C with the cold winter temps outside. Thermostat was cranked. An extra blanket would have helped.

Location. Cheaper hotels were nicer than this one. The staff tried to upsell us to "nicer" rooms for more money. We saw those rooms, they were identical to the room we were provided initially. Shower pressure was decent.

Several different live insects found on bedsheets and in bathroom. Towels in non smoking room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, as did the pillow covers. Corners of rooms had spider webs. Complimentary shampoo was 2/3 empty. Only 2 hours for breakfast.

The room was hot even with the thermostat turned off. We had to keep the ac on to get comfortable. 0° outside. Bedding was stained. The breakfast was a brown paper bag with a small banana, juice box, granola bar and water bottle Not what was advertised.

Al was so amazing with his dedication to running this business. He somehow works something like 16 hour days with the recent travel downturn the past year.

I was Riding my Motorcycle and got caught in heavy rain, I had to stop for the night¿ I had enough for the room, but not enough left on my card to cover deposit. No hotel in Gasoline Alley would let me stay. This guy took my helmet for deposit! ¿¿

Absolute 5 stars! Very biker friendly, and hospitable

Courteous staff

There was no breakfast, contrary to online booking. Email clearly says CAD but I was charged in USD. Totally gouged and misled.

It was an older hotel, but recently remodeled so very nice. Older hotel rooms are usually bigger so we like that

The room was clean, great internet

There were 2 drunks fighting in the room next to mine. I called the front desk and 20 minutes later had to call the police because no one from the hotel came. As a women travelling alone I did not feel safe.

Nice staff. Confortable and clean accomodation

The rooms are kind of small but just a problem if you are a bit claustrophobic!

We were lucky to get upgraded to a renovated room thanks to the nice staff. We didn't interact much but overall the staff are nice and friendly. The renovated room is clean and much nicer than I expected for a 2 star hotel. We are happy with our stay.

I could list things that I don't love so much but hey it is a 2 star accommodation. For what we paid and what we received, I don't have anything to complaint but happy that we found this place
